Tactical move actually. If the umpires give you out, the match is effectively over. If not out, then run taken as a leg bye doesn't count.

That rule should be looked into. If the review overturned it to not out, they would have lost unfairly.
If you’re given out and overturn it on review, the ball should be re-bowled

Yeah, it is a ticking time-bomb. Something like that could potentially happen in a World Cup final. Well, if New Zealand is at the receiving end, nothing will change, but imagine if India is at the receiving end of this....

According to BARC data, Disney Star has registered a cumulative reach of 44.8 crore viewers for the first 22 days (26 matches) of IPL 2024, garnering 18,800 crore minutes of total watch-time on TV. Such a joke of a tournament! Only 18800 crore minutes, should be atleast 30000 crore.
