Chargers are not going to win this one bar a bad collapse. I think Sharma is going to hole out anytime now.

Rohit Sharma > Robin Uthappa

I don't know why Mumbai ignored their own player.

Great resistance by Sharma.
He has done good enough for Deccan.
Deccan has at least passed 150+ so now fair amount of chance for Deccan bowlers.

Agree.
If they both will play under immense pressure than R Sharma is far better than Uthappa.

Wow, RG Sharma's average is 52, That is Brilliant in this Format...:)

Rohit Sharma is just so freaking good. I'm glad I chose him for my FC team. Hard to believe that he is about 2 months younger than me.

Damn Marsh.
He is running party here.
Solid start and I think I have lost Vcash on Deccan now.:(

Laxman is a poor, poor captain. Not one bowler bowled a spell greater than one over. He has no understanding whatsoever of bowler rhythm, thinking that spurts of 6 balls would allow a bowler to get into gear.

You can't really get into gear in a T20 though...I mean you have 4 overs to do your damage, and thats it.

Yeah, but bowling 6 balls at a time doesn't allow you to gain any sort of rhythm.

Not to mention Pragyan Ojha didn't get a single over! Laxman is silly.

Ya, I admit, he is retarded as a Captain. He doesn't really understand the concept of how a bowler can perform well.

Well as long as Laxman is there nobody dare to lose against them.
They were such a high rated team with lots of T20 sloggers and Poor captaincy has messed that all.
Laxman has jinxed the Deccans.
Still If He won't play in next matches then Deccan can win.

Points to note so far, How captaincy is important. .India's best captain leading his team to 4 consecutive win. India's former vice-captain, street-smart cricketer, Viru doing a great job and showing his skills as captain. Shane Warne, came from different country and still managed to show his skills, amazing. .never got chance to lead national side for a long duration.
Yuvraj, another attacking mind doing good job.

Most defensive Indian Captains or non-captains sitting at the bottom.

Defensive Attitude can lead a team no where, One cannot break another team with defence, Attack is the best way of Defence.

The way the tournament is going is amazing. ..

lol..
Great Post Arunav.
Best example was 3rd ball of 1st over where Laxman has leaved the ball like He is playing Test Cricket.
Damn He has played well at the start of the inning after when Team needed hitting then He got out.
He needs to take some rest.

They will just fade off like smoke in this format.I mean Dravid and Laxman like players.I am expecting a change of captaincy.Hand over the reins to Gilly for the DC and Kumble for RC.I am saying this because Kumble was looking to attack even in test matches when he was captain with his field settings.

Captaincy is one thing, but in a lot of cases the teams themselves are picked with limited vision. Big hitters don't automatically make a great T20 team; look at Pakistan. Their top order was a joke and it always fell to three rather orthodox middle order batsmen to put up a modest total, which the bowlers would then reliably defend. Also consider the Deccan v Punjab game; scarcely a handful of sixes hit. The powerful batsmen are handy, make no mistake, but what did they score tonight?

Of course, that is the reasoning by which all-rounders double in value, but a useful batsman needn't have cost even 200k. Teams that can rely on home-grown heroes can especially take advantage of this.
