I agree that captaincy is important but not totally.Bangalore have got a lot worser team than Chennai.Make Dhoni captain Bangalore and I am sure he will not make them win all the matches.Team selection is important too.I hope Bangalore gets a better team next time.

I would think Dhoni would bowl Pragyan Ojha over Venugapal Rao and would give a bowler a chance to bowl at least a two-over spell. That is just silly. Bowlers cannot be expected to make magic happen in 6 balls.

Warne upset at Ganguly's refusal to walk

The Indian Premier League feels increasingly like the Shane Warne Show. Tonight, after his Rajasthan Royals side made it four wins in a row in front of a partisan crowd at the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur, Warne launched into a stinging attack on Sourav Ganguly, the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, for what he perceived to be a blatant disregard for the spirit of the game. He seemed to have a point, but right now Warne could probably tell you the earth was flat and you'd believe him.

Warne was already irritated by the time Ganguly refused to walk for a catch claimed at deep midwicket by Graeme Smith. Ganguly famously made Steve Waugh wait at the toss, and now Warne believed the former India captain was running on Sourav-time yet again. "Our batters were waiting five minutes for the home side to go out," said Warne. "And when we came out in the field, we were waiting for Sourav. He was just going on his own time."

Sourav just forgot his walking stick thats all, and his onacle. Hes getting old and things mustn't be flowing like they used too.

Kolkota just don't seem the team they were at the start of the tournament...It's impossible for Mumbai...Bangalore are just crap...Punjab have looked good, but not good enough...and Delhi and Deccan have a chanc to go far in this tournament...

Things are changing fast here now Team are giving preference to first Batting.
Chennai looks so Ordinary without Hayden and Hussey,while Delhi has top class Bowling attack.
I think as Delhi is chasing,they are my favorites.

I'm pegging Delhi to win it here (probably in the finals to). They've got an extremely lethal bowling attack with Asif & McGrath available throughout, and Yo Mahesh who bowls very tidily. Gambhir and Sehwag opening is incredible as well.

Chennai has a dominant batting lineup IMHO (Sivaramakrishnan played an awesome innings today,) Raina, Morkel, and Patel look very good. I dunno about their bowling so much though.
