With todays bomb blast in Jaipur, India, killing 60 and wounding 150, am thinking how safe is it to play cricket and if the various boards should not call their players back home for their own safety. I mean boards did not want to send their players to Pakistan admist same fears, they all shouted safety first and since the IPL falls under the ICC, maybe they should call for players to return to their countries.
For those interested the link is below.

Nah,hey will continue playing.Only, the players will get extra security. Maybe Z-category. This is higest security offerred in India.Play will continue.

just want to say super shoaib on fire. the atmosphere looked great

Dhoni made some dumb moves by persisting with Gony who kept getting hit around by Jayasuriya.

And why the hell is Stephen Fleming still in the team? This guy, barring one innings, has struggled right through the tournament. We badly need some firepower at the top of the order and Dhoni hasn't done anything about it.

Chennai are looking very vulnerable at the moment with their bowling.

Gony seems like a good bowler, but needs that extra gear that he can go to. Whether it is extra pace or hitting the pitch harder is moot, but his bowling is getting a bit 'samey'.

I wouldn't take into the game too much to be honest, we were just blown away from an out of this world performance. Tendulkar and Uthappa had struggled, we were just unlucky that Jaya unleashed everything exactly when we played them.

Anyway, we need to bounce back, and quickly.

CSK had a bad game as far as luck goes. Jayasuriya when it is his day, every thing goes wrong for the opposition. How many times have we seen him blow away opposition like this?

I still CSK is hot in race for the semis. They need 2 more wins from 4 games. But Dhoni now has to push Balaji up the order in the bowling and bring Morkel down. Balaji and Gony will make a better opening pair than Morkel-Gony. And I guess its time for Murali to show his capabilities. He has been too quiet for Chennai's liking. We have Ntini too in the sidelines.

Why the HELL did they drop Karthik?

How the hell will they continue with him after seeing him score some 73 odd runs in 5-6 innings? I like Karthik, but he doesnt grab his opportunities.

I read that as well on cricinfo. if those three players go it will be a massive lost to the RR

Thanx Westindian, didnt know about that. That would indeed be a big loss for the RR if these players were to go.

Regd CSK- I think it is time for Albie to come up the order.
