Thing with SA is that Kallis, Amla and de Villiers are very very good. However I think India fancy themselves against the lower middle order and SA's tail which I think is a bit brittle. So this partnership is really key for SA.

Just one more wicket needed and SA would collapse is my prediction.
India should try hard for a breakthrough now.

Got him! Sree gets DeVilliers! India have just broken a big partnership which could have been threatening for us.

You beauty Sreesanth, that was a fantastic delivery. Beating AB and taking the edge.
Just one more wicket needed and we will be dominating this.

Pretty even, SA did better to just lose 4 wickets. If India fail to restrict SA below 300, chasing anything 250+ batting last India won't have much chance. Bowlers didn't use conditions well. The bowlers except zaheer are inconsistent, some spells they look deadly and unplayable the next they give full tosses, half volleys etc.

SA will be satisfied, a wicket less and they would be happy. Dhoni and india will be disappointed. The indian bowlers were impatient today and didn't stick to the rigth line and lenght like they did in durban, pitch offered enough seam movement through out.

Definitely South Africa's day. Zaheer needs to improve his fitness really, he can tire quickly and ends up bowling 125 kph the whole spell. Also, India are too reliant on him to provide the goods. Sreesanth and Ishant were good in patches. Ishant bowled too many balls that looked good but weren't really threatening to take wickets. They let the momentum slide after taking Petersen's wicket. Hopefully, they restrict South Africa for less than 350.

Very disappointed with the day from India's perspective. We should have had atleast 2 more wickets, and 20-30 runs short in SA's total. If the batting conditions improve tomorrow (which it most likely could), SA have well set batsmen in there to pound our bowling into submission. I have a bad feeling about our chances this game.

Less than 350 would be good for India. Anything over 400 and its advantage SA.

Kallis looking good. Tbh, India were very fortunate in his dismissals at Durban. Without those two masterstrokes, who knows how that game would have turned out.

Kallis is solid as a rock. Even Tendulkar looks like he could get out to certain balls, but Kallis is a rock. It really seems like the only way he can get out is to freak dismissals.

Oh come on! Sreesanth deserves all the credit for that snorter of a ball that he delivered to Kallis in Durban in the 2nd innings. That was not fortune, that was a bloody good ball from Sree. The first innings, yes India were lucky that Kallis was backing up too far and Ishant's fingers brushed the ball before it hit the stumps.

I hate watching Kallis bat for that particular reason. He frustrates the opposition a lot. Dravid used to do that to the opposition once upon a time. But not anymore! Right now, Sachin more often does it, but probably not as good as Kallis.

It was a great delivery but there weren't many that bounced as much as that one. So he was unlucky to get that delivery in durban, taking nothing away from sree it was a great ball.

I don't think I have seen many batsman leave the ball as well as Kallis did today. Some, especially from Sree who was getting some pretty wicked swing, were tantalizingly close to off stump but Kallis was confident in seeing them by. Good test cricket.
