With both the opening bowlers struggling for Windies, Lara stopped them and brought Gayle early into the attack as expected! Lara operated with Gayle and Edwards... Also he maintained a attacking field type for Gayle inspite of the aggressive start by Indian openers. Sehwag was facing the first ball of Gayle and the thing that suprised everyone is, Lara kept a silly point along with slip fielder. Windies were unlucky again as Sehwag was dropped once again in Gayle's first ball!

Gayle Frustrated in Very First Ball!

In very first ball, Gayle bowled an quick one which Sehwag tried to put it on offside which resulted in a thick edge. The ball was very well travelling towards Morton who was in the slips, but Lara was once again shocked as Morton missed it! This has been the second simple chance put down by Windies and Lara was seen animated on the field towards Morton!

Sehwag is having a lucky day so far! Also the team that has won the previous game mainly because of the great fielding is having a tough time today.

Runs Continued To Flow!

The dropped catch did not affect Sehwag as he continued to maintain his aggressiveness even after that! Sehwag looked to be very confident and played some nice shots all around the ground.

With both the batsmen hitting the ball all around, it was a very tough time for the fielders to chase the ball. The outfield is also fast which increases the difficulty for the fielders further!

Both the Indian openers reached their half century and recieved standing applauses from the crowd & dressing room. Well 15 Overs ended and drinks have been called now. India are off to a flying start with both Sehwag & Sourav reaching their fifty! Windies got couple of chances to dismiss Sehwag but missed both. Lara was seen bit unhappy but he is continuously working with his fielders! Windies badly need a breakthrough while both Indian batsmen would be looking to rotate strikes and carryin on as much as possible!

Edwards Strike for Windies!
( Ganguly Dismissed, Atlast a catch Taken )​

Well, inspite of two catches being dropped, Lara kept on encouraging his fielders and was having a regular discussion with his bowlers. Gayle and Edwards were operated by Lara. Totally Lara was seen busy on the field. Edwards, in one of his overs, striked for Windies with the important wicket of Ganguly!

Edwards delivered an slow delivery suddenly and Ganguly completely misread it. He attempted for an huge shot which was not properly timed. This made the ball to go in air very flat towards Gayle who was standing inside the circle. This time Windies were not ready to drop an another lolly pop.... Gayle took that catch with ease! As soon as Gayle took that catch he started running towards Sarwan who was standing near him and jumped on Sarwan to celebrate this breakthrough.

Lara, atlast was relieved a bit and happy that the catch was taken. Ganguly was looking well settled but Windies managed to get rid of him! It was an important breakthrough for Windies. Ganguly made his way towards the dressing room & everyone applauded him for the brilliant quick innings! It was bit disappointment for Ganguly fans as they were very eager to see a century after long time.

Sachin Tendulkar, centurion in last match, came from the dressing room and roar of the spectators increased further. All started shouting, " Sachin!!! Sachin!!! " and were jumping from their seats. Sachin always have a great support in Chennai. At the same time, music from Windies side is also non-stop which is totally making this atmosphere wonderful for cricket!

Well, 20 Overs ended. India, though lost Ganguly, are looking very comfortable with the healthy scoring rate above 6 Runs per over. Tendulkar have started patiently & Sehwag is looking good at the moment. Lara is very much aware of his own friend and wud be looking to get rid of him first Also Windies wud be looking to slow down the scoring rate of India. Still a lot of works to do for both the teams
