Don't forget that the Windies are very much capable of chasing down totals.
They also have a goodish batting line-up in Gayle,Lara,Chandu & Sarwan.
They also have good bowlers who can really bring down the scoring rate in the middle overs.
Talking of India,I am surprised that they have opted to go in for a 5-bowler attack.
They could have done away wiht one of the fast bowlers or even one of the spinners,i.e,Powar could have made way for an extra batsman.
Though it should not hurt India as they are batting first.

Excellent Start for India
( Sehwag & Sourav looking Solid, No help for Bowlers )​

well, there was a huge roar when both the Indian openers followed the Windies fielders and Umpires. The name " Sachin " was very audible from the shouts though Sehwag & Ganguly were the openers. Also at the same time, music from Windies fans was also great as usual. Lara, after having discussion with his bowler, set the field accoringly. After everything was ready, Umpire asked to proceed and match started with Sehwag facing the new ball!

Ganguly's Confident Innings!

Sourav Ganguly started off nicely with a four in his first ball off Bradshaw by a lovely cover drive! This first ball four made all Indian fans to jump from their seats. Ganguly continued to dominate the bowlers and was playing the shots very confidently.

Sourav used his front & backfoot very well though he was very strong in frontfoot! Later in Collymore's over, Ganguly got a huge six in legside which almost went out of the stadium. He got another six in very next over which was bowled by Bradshaw.

Lara was very suprised to see this attacking approach from Sourav who was slightly struggling to get runs in recent games. But the excitement increased even more among Indian fans and the stadium is completely noisy due to the excitement filled among both the fans there. Lara started working with his fielders making slight adjustments but the flow did not stop!

Sehwag Joins The Party with Sourav

In the other end, Sehwag also started playing his natural game. Well, due to his recent struggles in ODIs, he has been experimented with no3 as well right from DLF cup and now he has been suddenly promoted as a opener today & gud thing for India is, he seemed to be get his natural rhythm back!

Sehwag blindly went over the bowlers and infact Windies had a chance of dismissing him in Collymore's over when he was batting on 11. Sehwag tried to go over the top which resulted in the top edge and the ball was travelling straight to Chanderpaul;s hands but unfortunately, he dropped a sitter! Lara can't believe that Chanderpaul has dropped an easy catch.

Shewag also scored an huge six in legside off Collymore earlier and the runs were just flowing that acclerated the Indian scorecard continuously. The fielders are having a tough time as they are continuously found running behing the ball. Bowlers are not getting any assistance from the pitch as well!

Well, 10 Overs ended and it completely belonged to India. Sehwag and Ganguly have done a great job so far by continuosly accelerating the scorecard! Opening bowlers have struggled a lots... This might force Lara to introduce Banks and Gayle early, over other fast bowlers than expected! It wud be interesting now to see how Lara manages to control this situation or whether batsmen going to continue the domination!
