R.S : Hello and Welcome to the Presentation ceremony for the match between NewZealand and Bangladesh where Kiwis managed to win a close contest with the help of Bond and Astle. Once again the result remained as a suspense till that fabulous hattrick from Astle in last over of the match!

R.S : Well, lets now go to the match presentation now.... First, i like to call Bangladesh captain, Ashraful to the stage please to have few words with us!

R.S : Tough Luck Ashraful today...But Did you expect this result?

Well, its the tough game but we did well to get close to the target. Unfortunately, the things went wrong for us in the last over! Totally we had a good game.. it was just in the end, we failed to make it!

R.S : You won the toss and opted to bowl.. Now do u feel that u cud have batted first? as in previous two game where u won batting first!

The conditions were bowler friendly! Also, we did well in bowling restricting them below 230. So we were contented to bowl first! It was a team effort today where we narrowly missed it in the last moment!

R.S : Well, You had a great series overall.. are u happy with ur team's performance?

Yeah...We worked hard and tried our level best and very much happy to reach this level. We learnt a lot from this series.. we gained experience in playing against the big teams.. We are totally happy with our performance! Hope we perfom the same in future series as well.

R.S : Gud Luck Ashraful for the future success as well

Thanks Ravi... Also i like to thank everyone who supported us throughout this tournament. Without the support,i dont think we wud have reached this level. Also thanks all the Bangla ppl for coming to watch and support us.. it really boosted us!

Its a great match overall. Especially in the end stages, they played well and full credits to Astle & Shane who managed to pick vital wickets! Its good feeling to win them as they have won already England & Aussies

R.S : With 220+ as target, did u think that its enough to defend?

220+ on this track is definetly an challenging one. Batsmen struggled through out the match and thats tells how the pitch is! With Bond grabbing the early wickets, we had a great feeling that we were on the right track.. but in the end overs, Bangla batsmen did pretty well to keep the game in balance.. Atlast we managed to make a game in last over

R.S : Astle was a suprise option in that stage of the game... Did u expect that result i.e hattrick ?

Actually No... It was suprise to all of us including Astle We just had a plan to utilise the dew as medium bowlers are effective than the bowlers with long runner ups in these conditions! We had a main plan to contain them but fortunately, it ended as a hattrick

For Bangla, it was a excellent bowling display from Mortaza. Then for Kiwis, Astle had a great allround performance! But our MOTM today is Shane Bond, who took the crucial wickets and threatened Bangla right from the first over till the last over!

yes, Very much The new ball was great to bowl... The dew factor was affecting a bit, later in the evening as the ball became tough to grip. But we managed in the end with some variations in pace!

R.S : Well, now progressed to finals. U have threatened Lankans in prev game and now Bangla.. which team u like to bowl in finals?

:laugh Both India & WestIndies are strong sides. Its always challenging to bowl to either Lara or Tendulkar! So its going to be a tough contest! Hope to succeed in finals as well!
