In tests, during initial part of my story, I used CD's V3 patch(which was not released.. i was the beta tester ) and later, switched to Tutsi's latest patch.

In ODIs, its Tutsi most of the times... Only sometimes, without AI patch.

Indian Spinners put SA in Check!
( Murali Kartik/Sehwag bring back the lost balance from nowhere )

Well, after getting some heavy smashings from Smith, the opening bowlers were stopped from bowling. Pathan was introduced into the attack and the expectations were very much high on him to get the needed breakthroughs. But the things didn't stop SA from accelerating their scoring rate. They went over Pathan too which made Dhoni, the skipper to stand clueless.

InEffective Pathan!

Pathan's low pace turned as an advantage for the batsmen. They blindly started to go at this bowler too. Gibbs welcomed Pathan with a terrific boundary smashed in straight. The very next ball was also smashed, but in offside, and this time, ball went in air.. The fielder who was standing there, tried his level best but was not able to get hold of it. And that resulted in boundary as well.

Two consecutive boundaries created frustrations for the bowler as well as the skipper. Pathan's over turned out to be ineffective in the end, like other pace bowlers,for India. Murali Kartik was introduced in other end. Very soon after, Smith reached his fifty and recieved standing applauses from everyone. What a brilliant innings this was by the SouthAfrican skipper! Terrific! As soon as he reached his fifty, he became the bunny of Kartik.

Kartik Gets the Needed Breakthrough.

It was a normal delivery from Murali Kartik. And Smith tried to play that in leg side for another boundary but got decieved in the end. He missed it completely and ball straight away struck the stumps resulting in clean bowled. This was a big breakthrough for India and Kartik! :happy

Smith, gave a sarcastic smile before he started walking towards pavilion. He also recieved applauses from everyone for his brilliant innings. It came to an end in unfortunate way though. Nevermind, the entertainment which he provided was absolutely fantastic. He made Indian bowlers clueless and now, he's gone which seems to be a right time for India to bounce back into this match.

Suprisingly, Pathan was stopped after his first over and Dhoni brought Sehwag into the bowling attack. Infact, this suprise bowling change worked greatly for India.

Sehwag ~ A Suprise Package for India!

Villiers was the next man replacing his skipper. He didn't last long either. He got off the mark with a lovely boundary but fell in the trap while attempting the same shot again.

In one of the deliveries of Sehwag, Villiers attempted a huge one.. The ball went high in the air and also, it looked as if, it had got enough distance for the maximum.. but, it felt just short of the ropes.. It was a magnificent catch taken near the ropes. Fielder was so careful that he prevented himself from touching the boundary ropes after taking that catch. Indian team continued their celebration and they started to feel, that they were coming back well into the match. Kemp replaced Villiers and he didn't last long either.

While Kemp was attempting a soft shot in offside in one of Viru's deliveries, the ball went straight to Raina's hands, who was standing near the inner circle. This wicket brought all the Indian fans alive and they started to jump from their seats. Celebration continued for Indian team too. Kemp was, however disappointed for getting dismissed cheaply. Kallis came in as the new batsman.

India Bounces back Well into this Match.

Gibbs and Kallis were trying to release the pressure on SA because of those quick wickets. But both of them didn't get much success in it since they also got dismissed by the spinners.

Kallis got a unfortunate inside edge against Murali Kartik and ball straight away made its way towards the stumps after touching bat's blades. It resulted in another bowled and it was another big wicket for India as SA's rock(Kallis) have been broken. Kallis made his way towards the pavilion with disappointing face. Boucher arrived as the new batsman.

In Viru's over, important Gibbs too was dismissed. He attempted to go over the bowler.. The ball went very high in the air.. it looked like striking the flood lights for a moment.. but it turned out to be a safe/watchful catch for Yuvraj(near the boundary) in the end. This relieved Dhoni a lots and celebrations for India continued. They(India) are very much happy with the situation compared to their situation after initial 5 overs. Pollock arrived as the new batsman replacing Gibbs. Also, 15 overs ended and worrying news for India is, Spinners have completed their 4-Overs spell. So, the last five overs are going to be very crucial for Dhoni regarding his bowlers selection. It has to be Pathan(2 Overs left), Sreesanth(1 Over left) and Zaheer( 2 Overs left). Who knows, Yuvi might get the ball as well.

Indian Bowling Card.

Well, after the worst start in five overs, India have bounced back really well with the help of their spinners, Murali Kartik and Sehwag. They not only got the hold over the scoring rate but also helped to get the regular wickets. Viru's three wickets haul really suprised everyone. With still five overs remaining, SouthAfrica is expected to reach atleast a 200. Its going to be interesting how the bowlers going to do for India in last five overs.. Whether its going to be bowlers or batsmen to dominate in last five crucial overs? Have to wait and see. Stay Tuned.

Very good bowling by the Indian Spinners. Spin is the Key in T20 Matches. Superb works Suren bhai. I think the Saffers will struggle to get to 200 now.

India needed those wickets desperately, however, South Africa are still way ahead and flying. Their target should be to get to 200. These two batsmen need to hit a few shots to get them up to that target.

India clawing back but 200 is still reachable. Pathan was unlucky! His fellow bowlers however, shocking. You don't give away 8+ runs an over in Twenty20 cricket, that's just poor bowling.

Spinners doing the job for India at the moment but this last 5 overs will be crucial. I think Yuvi should be introduced in the attack as well. Good bowling by Kartik to get rid of the South African captain.Nice presentation and i think South Africa will manage to reach 190 but thats poor after the start which they got of 14rpo.

Good to see India taking some wickets here, slowing down SA's runrate but this total is still going to be hard, i expect they will get 200 unless they lose another 2 wickets soon.
