Winner --- Still Unpredictable!!!​

Well, The winner of the game is still unpredictable even for both the coaches in the dressing room..Ponting is even more tensed... Hussey is the only man now who has the ability to win this match... But Windies are also applying more pressure on the other batsman!!! Lara was kept on working with the bowlers and the fielders and now both the teams are not giving up easily!!!:boxing

Hussey Taking the Game Away From Windies!!!

But Lee was supporting Hussey qyite well and the thing is Hussey kept the strike most of the times... He was in complete control about what was happening at that moment and played some superb shots and was accelerating the scoring rate still more further...Eventhough he did no get the boundaries so often, he converted singles into twos quite cleverly!!!!

Lee -- Dismissed By Lawson!!!

Lawson was brought back to the attack and this time he striked early in his second spell... He bowled an quickish delivery and Lee just played an ordinary shot but was quite unlucky as the ball travelled in air & Chanderpaul making a brilliant leap in front and managed to take the catch!!! It was an superb catch & was similar to the one that Bravo took before!! Windies were excited a lot as they were able to brak this pair..... Now Lara wants Hussey not to be on the strike!!!

Hussey Went Wild Over Bravo!!!

S.Clarke was the new batsman joining Hussey... His only one role is to support Hussey!!!

Bravo was brought in by Lara to bowl... Hussey was at the striker's end... This was the over what Australia wanted for a long time!!

First Ball :- Hussey struck a six on legside...Infact that delivery was attempted yorker by Bravo but unexpectedly it ended as an full toss for Hussey thereby making the shot more easy for Hussey!!! It was a flat six as it managed to go over the rope going pass the fielder's head....

Second Ball :- It was bolwed on offside and Hussey again went over the delivery for the huge six again.... It carried over the long distance than the previous six!!! Bravo was disappointed a lot.... Lara was bit tensed!!!

Again back to back six by Hussey....

Third Ball :- Dot ball...just an simple stroke!!!

Fourth Ball :- Hussey tried to get another boundary but was well fielded even in pressure and managed to get two runs!!!

Fifth Ball :- Hussey took single to maintain strike in next over leaving only one ball for Clarke to face it!!!

Sixth Ball :- Dot ball...Well Played By Clarke!!!

That was a great Over for Aussies.... But still the required rate is over six per over!!!

Can Hussey Win The Game For Australia ???

There is a real battle going on between both the teams..Infact its Hussey vs Windies now... Bravo after that 15 runs over improved his line and length..In the other end, gayle was operating with the strict line and length!!! Gayle targetted Hussey most of the times straight into the blockhole... Hussey was finding a little difficult to play shots... But in one of the deliveries of Gayle, Hussey went over the low full toss and smashed a huge six!!! That raised the scoring rate still further but still required rates is more than six per over!!!

Windies Not Giving Up against Hussey...Fighting for the Victory!!!

Hussey... Hussey... Hussey... Thats what Windies need now.... The bowlers are hunting for this wicket every delivery they bowl!!! Even for the singles, the fielders are trying to prevent it by some great dives and at the moment Windies are attempting everything to get this dangerman out!!!

Windies are not giving up easily at the moment.... At the same time Hussey is also not giving up... Great battle to continue for Five more overs... then the result will be known!!!

ONE OVER OF BRAVO CHANGED THE GAME!!!!

Bravo was bowling to Clarke on 47th Over... Fortunate thing for Windies is Hussey was at the non strikers end!!! This over changed the entire course of the match......

S.CLARKE WAS DISMISSED BY BRAVO

Bravo bowled a beautiful slow delivery which Clark tried to hit in the gaps but it resulted in the edge that carried the ball to the wicket keeper Ramdin... He did not make any mistake and took the simple catch at ease!!! Bravo was extremely delighted to get a break through though he was not able to get typical Bravo wicket ( bowled off the slow delivery )!!!

Lara was happy now and bit relieved as McGrath will be on strike for remainig four deliveries!!! Hussey had a long chat with McGrath not to take any risk...At the other end, Lara tightened the fielding to attack this bowler ( McGrath)!!!

Bravo was bowling To McGrath.....

McGrath Also Become The Victim of Bravo!!!

McGrath was luckily able to survive two deliveries of Bravo.... But he was edged in simialar way like S.Clarke....resulting in the carrying of ball to the keeper and Ramdin once again took the catch at ease!!!

This resulted in " WEST INDIES WIN BY 30 RUNS "


All Windies players on the field were excited a lot and started celebrating this magic win over the World Champs!!! Hussey was the man left out at the end without any strong support at the other end... But He played an exceptional innings according to the situation!!!

WINDIES TEAM PROUDLY LEAVES THE FIELD!!!

Well, Windies team after giving handshake to the players and the umpires leaves the field with joy and there was warm handshake between Australian players and Windies players... Though inner thoughts of Australian players should have been " Will See U in Next Match : "

SCORECARD​

Its clearly seen that Hussey was the only man to give a fight till the last and no one supported him strongly though Ponting provided a little ressistance!!! But the entire arena stood up and praised Hussey when he walked to the dressing room.... The way he played..was exceptionally awesome!!!

The bowling card looks impressive especially Collymore and Banks... Everyone contributed their level best with Collymore playing the main role of getting four wickets for just 21 Runs.. this was very economical and also his early three wickets led to the setup of platform for this victory!!!

This graph shows how superb Hussey played all over.. He threatened the entire Windies team..but unfortunately he ran out of partners to support him.... Overall he has played an Matured Innings!!! Hats Off to Hussey though he finished in loosing side!!!

R.S : Welcome to the Presentation Ceremony for the first match of DLF cup between Australia and WestIndies on Star Sports!!! It was an exciting match and its simply a low scoring thriller ending in Windies favour!!!

R.S : Well, I like to call the loosing captain Ricky Ponting first to have few words here please....

R.S : Tough Luck Ricky, Whats ur view on this game?

Well, this match ended as a narrow loss for us... We didnt play well & Windies did outstanding job in bowling,fielding & batting by Lara was excellent in the end... Hussey did an fantastic job of keeping the match alive but still our guys needs to learn from the mistakes they did today!!!

R.S : What do u think of track?

Well, this was troubling the batsmen most of the times in both the innings... The ball was not coming on to the bat as expected.... Rain in past three days has slowed the outfield also... Hope the weather doesnt affect this series in upcoming schdeules!!!

R.S : Thanx Ricky for coming up & Better Luck Next time!!!

R.S : Well Brian, Whats ur opinion now on this victory?

Its been a great effort by the whole team...in other words, Its simply a TeamWork that has led to this victory... Hussey was playing superbly and some of our bowlers had no answers for that but Collymore did an wonderful job to initiate the damage and Banks followed him to apply brakes to the scoring rate.... Bowlers did an wonderful job overall!!!

R.S : well while batting you did an great job.. how did u manage to bat on this low bounce track?

Well Ravi, it was too much frustrating to be honest at first but when settled the track got used to and was comfortable at the end.... like Ricky said, rain for past three days played an important role in slowing down the outfield as well!!!

R.S : About Chanderpaul ?

Well I was having a continuous chat with him while batting.. He was really uncomfortable with the pitch and the behaviour of the ball i.e uneven bounce!!! We have to learn from the mistakes we commited today!!

R.S : Now the Man of The Match... well it was really difficult to select this.... Lara played an exceptional innings taking Windies to the competitive total... Lee Bowled well taking Four wickets...Hussey's performance was outstanding but Today's Man Of The Match goes to the person who did exceptionally well in bowling, that too defending an low score, taking four wickets giving away just 21 Runs and more importantly he grabbed all the three top order wickets that initiated this platform for Victory!!! Its none other than Collymore!!!

Colly, could you please come to the stage to collect the cheque and have some words with us!!!

yes, it was low bouncy track and that forced me to bowl little slower than my normal speed and also new ball was moving a bit due to overcast condition!!

R.S : Which was ur favourite wicket of the four?

I feel Gilchrist's one was the most important and favourite as he has the capabilty to increase the scoring rate as long as he stays at the crease... That too after the blast in first over, getting him out was nice!!! But each and evry wicket our bowlers took were important and I am happy to perform well and help my team for victory!!!
