CAN WINDIES MAKE A MATCH FROM HERE ???

Well after Chanderpaul departed, the responsibilities fell on the shoulder of Gayle who was also going very well that time... Sarwan joined Gayle and this pair decided to rotate strikes as much as possible becos the required rate was below 5 per over!!!

GAYLE's SOLID BATTING!!!

gaylekq8.jpg

Gayle took most of the strikes from Sarwan and continued his solid form and accelerated the scorecard!!! Dravid was bit difficult to set field to this big man of WestIndies...Also Indian skipper wanted Sarwan on strike having in mind that Bhaji would attack him more than his partner gayle!!!

Gayle also got couple of boundaries!!! Dravid also continued Agarkar's long spell to support Bhaji at other end... Skipper had options of sachin & Sehwag and hesitated to bring Pathan!!! So Dravid was quite contented with Ajit to support Harbhajan.

GAYLE's HALF CENTURY

Meanwhile Chris Gayle brought his Fifty with a single towards the covers and raised his bat proudly to the crowd... Gayle also recieved standing :clap :clap :clap from the crowd and also from the Windies dressing room!!!

Gayle took 73 balls to reach his fifty.. He infact played steadily in the middle after an aggressive start to support Chanderpaul... Now it seems like that Gayle is back to his aggressive approach!!! Dravid felt the alarm of danger becos of this man and he somehow want to get rid of Gayle!!!

HARBHAJAN STRIKES FOR SECOND TIME

wktgaylenk9.jpg

Harbhajan Singh did the job for his skipper in getting rid of Chris Gayle :) Bhaji bowled an normal offbreak & Gayle went over it for an huge one but unfortunately mistimed that didnt allow the ball to a great height..As a result, the ball managed to travel above the head of Yuvraj...& he made a huge jump to catch the ball and managed to get the ball in his hands!! This turned to be an super catch dismissing Gayle!!!

Gayle was disappointed as that was an unnecessary shot at that moment when the runs required was just above 100!!! Entire Indian team started celebrating again..This was another major wicket for Indians..Galye, The big man of windies finally departed for his well made fifty and returned to pavilion with disappointed face!!!

SARWAN JOINS GAYLE IN QUICK TIME!!!

sarwanwktad9.jpg

Smith was the new batsman replaced Gayle!!! It was expected from everyone that Sarwan would play an major role but that did not happen!!!

It was a suprise decision of Dravid bringing Pathan back to the attack after an expensive 4 overs spell!!! The fielding was defensive and the intentions were clear that " allow singles but not the boundaries " as Pathan had already faced severe blasts from Gayle and Chanderpaul.

Pathan's second spell started off with the wicket of R.Sarwan. Pathan was bowilng an normal delivery, Sarwan in attempt to play the backfoot defensive shot, got the inside edge and the ball of striking the bat travelled towards the stumps and took the offstick off... This was another huge blow for Windies team...

Pathan was delighted to start off with a wicket in the second spell ( Also it is to be noted that he did the same thing of taking wicket in first ball in the first spell :) )Sarwan was disappointed to be dismissed cheaply!!!

Again joy & happiness spreaded everywhere among Indian team and this couple of quick wickets may change the game in Indian's favour as the windies lower order is not that strong in recent times!!!

Sarwan returned to pavilion and W.Hinds replaced Sarwan!!

In Indians point of view, they are back into this contest and need some quick wickets to apply pressure even more!!!

In Windies point of view, they just need to take singles everytime and keep the score card moving as the runs required is less than 100 now!!!

WI : 159/5 (30 Overs)

Required Rate : 4.15 per Over

Smith : 9*(10)
Hinds : 10*(8)

india can easily win this :D:D:D:D

Both new batsmen at crease..but still i wud say 50-50!!! lets see how bowlers manage this!!! ;)

FLASH NEWS ---- RAIN INTERRUPTS THE PLAY

Windies with just having required rate of above four runs per over & two new batsmen at the crease, the match seems to be in a balanced way still as the lower order have displayed a poor performance so far!!!

With the excitement all over the ground, suddenly showers started... Initially the players were there in the field only and the two umpires were having discussion.... Then the showers were heavy that made umpire to take the bails off and asked the players to leave the field.....

(Animated...Please wait for few minutes to fully load)

So the heavy showers were ON... & all the players left the ground & the groundsmen were in the process of bringing covers to cover the pitch!!!

The main advantage for India is that two unsettled batsmen at the crease & for Windies is the required run rate!!! The showers were expected right from the start of this series but it interrupted now in this match that too at the climax stage!!!

INSPECTION TO FOLLOW IN NEXT 15 MINUTES
Stay Tuned!!!

Great Presentation Suren! Keep up the fantastic work!
