India's Poor Form Continues!
( Yuvraj Goes For Duck )

yuvioutun0.jpg

After Sehwag's dismissal, Brett Lee bowled the last ball in that over.. Yuvraj singh got a huge suprise in his very first ball he faced!

Lee fired a quick bouncer at Yuvraj... & Yuvi was not expecting that at all.. He had no time to think... While attempting to just defend himself from a quick bouncer, Yuvraj played an backfoot stroke ( jumping at the crease ) and he got an edge & ball went in air towards the fielder nearby!

Hayden was standing there... The ball directly landed on Hayden's hand without any problems and it resulted in Yuvraj's dismissal in first ball! Lee was excited and also the Aussies! Yuvraj was very much disappointed!

Yuvraj's Reaction!

yuvidispnttt4.jpg

nah... i dont want to go to pavilion! isn't it a no ball ? :(

Yuvraj singh cant belive that he has been dismissed! He was looking at the legumpire if there has been any signals of a noball! But Aussies were celebrating in one end and there were no such indications from the umpires! Yuvraj sat there disappointed and it seems that he doesnt want to leave the field itself! But its all over, Yuvi forced himself to make his way towards dressing room!

This is really an unfortunate way of getting out but its more common in cricket these days
! Lara has been unfortunate twice already in this series!

Well, with four wickets down and India not even having 50 on their scoreboard.... its turning out to be an great disappointments for Indian fans there in the stadium! Not even a single sign of fighting for the target has been displayed so far by Indian batsmen!Dhoni joins Dravid at the crease!

Ind :- 47/4(15 Overs)
Dhoni : 0*(0)
Dravid : 13*(27)

Yuvraj : 0(1)Dismissed by Lee in Unfortunate way

How is he suprised by a bouncer from Brett Lee?

Oh well lol :p
India lost it and it will be a good game between Australia and West Indie sin the final :)
Great work as usual suren :clap

India have played poorly right from the off, the bowling was very bad and you can't exactly say much good about the batting. Fair play to the Aussies though, they have kept the foot on the pedals and they are romping home with this one.

Great presentation.

Yuvi continues with his poor form ...India in deep trouble ....btw please give them a chance to bat again :D

Well bowled Bing, shouts Gilly :p

Australia are running all over India here and that is the way I like it :)

Indian Skipper Departed
( Replay Shows Not Out )

dravidoutfw8.jpg

With opening bowlers doing an excellent job, bowling change with Wastson and S.Clarke was done and infact both the bowlers carried on the momentum left by Lee & McGrath!

Watson striked in the second over of his spell with the huge wicket of Indian Skipper! Dravid missed the line completely while attempting to play it on legside and as a result, he was trapped in front for a LBW! There was a huge appeal made by Watson and umpire aftr thinking for some time, he raised his finger that Aussies delighted further!

Dravid was unhappy with the decision given by the umpire! He nodded his head and made his way towards the dressing room!

Action Replay Shows " Wrong Decision"

doubtoutae4.jpg

The action replay on the big screen showed something different contradicting the umpire's decision! The ball was pitched in right length but it seems that the height fact has been ignored by the umpire!

The ball wud have passed with a good height above the bails but was given out! The action replay in the big screen carried further disappointments in Indian dressing room! Indian coach, Chappell was seen with animated action in dressing room after seeing the replay! But its all over, Dravid also returned to dressing room and Irfan Pathan replaced Indian skipper at the crease!

Is India on the way towards the one of the worst defeat in the cricket ?

Atleast, Dravid & Dhoni was expected to show some ressistance atleast but again its another unfortune with Dravid's dismissal!

Has the luck denied Indians victory ? Or Dravid's decision of bowling first was wrong ? or Aussies outsmarted Indians in every situation ?
are some of the multiple thoughts thats been in Indian spectator's mind at the moment!

Ind :- 52/5(17 Overs)
Dhoni : 2*(7)
Pathan : 3*(3)

Dravid : 13(29)Dismissed by Watson by Umpire's wrong decision!

i am seeing that more wickets are falling in this innings than the shots played

This is what happens when loads of pressure mounts on the team ( huge target on one side and final qualification on other side ).... Also, Yuvraj and Dravid were really unlucky! Aussies didnt allow runs tooo... :( ( were very strict in fielding & bowling )

you still think theres any indian spectator watching the match anymore? I dont think so. they must have left the grounds, and now the only thing remaining in the match is the quick tumble of the tailenders

No chance here !
The bowlers have lost it for India.
On a green track,Aussies have amassedmore than 300:eek

Well lets hope for a 100+ from India !

Aussies Are In Victory Platform
( Powar showed some Ressistance )

Well, with Pathan and Dhoni at the crease, Aussies attacked more on both these batsmen! Dhoni stayed patient and Pathan's intention was to give strikes to Dhoni as much as possible and they wanted to get atleast some fair score on the board! Ponting introduced the spinner, Hogg and he striked in his first spell taking Pathan's wicket!

Irfan Pathan ~ Softly Dismissed By Hogg!

pathanoutxv6.jpg

Pathan in attempting to go for an drive in offside to get Dhoni on strike, found the fielder(Lee) in infield and the ball went safely towards the fielder.... Lee took the catch at ease! Hogg was delighted to get his first wicket!

This dismissal added one more to the wicket column! And its been the one of the horrible batting display showed by Indians so far that too having high target to chase! Most of the spectators left the field, some of the spectators threw empty water bottles on the ground :p

Powar replaced Pathan at the crease!

Powar's Little Ressistance, But too Late!

powarrstnceoz0.jpg

Ramesh Powar who came in as a new batsman played some cracking shots all over and was getting some boundaries too! Powar seemed to entertain the remaining Indian spectators ( ofcourse who were also disappointed )!

Ponting also gave rest to his pace bowlers and was operating with Symonds and Hogg and this turned to be one of the reasons for Powar's entertainment! On the other end, Dhoni seemed to be very quiet and wasnt that comfortable also to play free strokes! But this pair added some partnership which was the highest of Indian innings and soon that was put to an end when Ponting brought back the pace attack by introducing Watson in Hogg's end!

Promising Powar Departs!

powardeprtsbq9.jpg

Powar who was looking aggressive played an confident shot against Watson and at one moment, it seemed to be the boundary but suddenly there was huge dive in the middle by Brett Lee in attempting to stop the ball but Lee managed to get hold of the ball in air itself resulting as the amazing catch! It was a wonderful effort taken by Lee in the field too! Watson puts an end to Powar's entertainment and Aussies celebrated as usual with great joy and happiness!

With seven wickets gone already, Aussies are well ahead in the victory platform to reach the finals against Windies!

Ind :- 116/7(30 Overs)
Dhoni : 23*
Harbhajan : 0*(0)

Pathan : 7 Dismissed by Hogg
Powar : 32 Dismissed by Watson
