Pietersen is the key now also England are not that bad that they will lose to Bangladesh its just an EA game in which miracles tend to happen. But England should win this one

C'mon Bangla!! Don't lose your cool. C'mon, we can win this. Keep GoJo on strike, field tightly, and very length and fligh. Nice to see all four spin options used. Maybe it might work to keep the seamers off, make them put pace on the ball. But then again, Hossain and Mortaza can deliver lethal yorkers. KP is the key man, we just need him out...

Still the match is yet to complete ;) Also i think u must have missed the following matches,

1) Kenya Vs WI, 96WCup ( Kenya won )
2) Bangla Vs Paksistan, 99 Wcup ( Bangla won )
3) Zim Vs SA, 99 Wcup ( Zim won )
4) Ind Vs Zim, 99 Wcup ( Zim won )

Jones Dismissed!

( Its Still Pieterson Vs Bangla )

jonesoutbb8.jpg

Saleh and Mortaza were operating after 40 Overs. Saleh bowled an excellent over giving away just 6 Runs! Saleh was mainly bowling stump to stump line and it became tough for both the batsmen to get rid of it easily... Also the fielding was well wide-spread that was perventing the frequent boundaries.

Mortaza was introduced for his third spell and Jones was on strike.

In the Very First ball, Jones moved a bit planning to give strike to Pieterson.... Mortaza atempted an yorker length delivery and Jones attempted an cover drive and unfortunately, it ended as an inside edge that made the ball to hit the stumps after striking the bottom plate of the bat!

Jones was disappointed a lot as his main intension was to give Pieterson the strike but was unlucky to get an inside edge. Mortaza picked his third wicket and now, England have pressed the panic button as the tail is exposed!

Mortaza finished the remaining over with four singles and it was an amazing over for Bangladesh with a wicket and just Four Runs!

England is now, fully dependent on Pieterson. He has to perform some magic for his team. At the same time, Bangla bowlers are doing equally a good job! The required rate has raised to 9 per over now.

England :- 251/6(42)
Hoggard: 2*(2)
Pieterson : 118*(105)

Jones : 9(16) Dismissed by Mortaza
Required Run Rate: 9/Over

Excellent yorker Mashrafe.
Did you know he just got married?
Bangla should win this. Saleh doing well here, just what the situation requires.
4 singles, means KP is on strike. He won't be looking for ones with Hoggy at the other end, so set a defensive field, plenty in the deep. Get him holing out. If he does pick up a single, prevent Hoggy from stealing one. Might be a good idea to have a slip in place for both of them...
C'MON Bangla!! :)

Over No: 43, Saleh's Over

( Bangla Missed A Huge Opportunity )

Saleh was allowed to operate still and it was suprise to everyone that Ashraful gave preference to him over Rafique especially in late overs! But there were opportunities created for Bangla but were unlucky!

Ball 1 :- Decieved, Once Again Ball missed the Stumps!

ball1rw4.jpg

Saleh bowled an beautiful delivery that decieved Pieterson completely! It was Saleh again who was unlucky and Pieterson again who was lucky. Wicket keepr was also not able to believe that ball didnt hit the stumps.

Ball 2 :- Catch Dropped, Resulted in Six!

ball2uw4.jpg

Pieterson got frustrated with the previous delivery and went for a huge one this time.. The ball seemed to go towards the fielder, Bashar standing there and to everyone's suprise, he dropped the catch. This dropped catch made the ball to fall over the ropes for a Six as Bashar was standing very close to boundary ropes.

Once again Luck favouring Pieterson.

Ball 3 :- Top Edge, Landed in NoMan's Area,& its Four!

ball3nk1.jpg

Pieterson once again attempted an aggressive shot and it was not properly timed leading to an top edge... Luckily the ball landed in NoMan's land as Ashraful moved his men from there to inside the circle. Before the fielder reached it, ball touched the ropes for Four!

Pressure mounted on Saleh as its a crucial stage of the match.

Ball 4 :- Dot Ball

Pieterson once again went over the bowler attempting another aggresive shot inb legside but it went towards the fielder and Pieterson was not interested in giving strike to Hoggard and so did not run that resulted in the dot ball.

Ball 5 :- Perfect Shot, Four More!

ball5nb3.jpg

The width was provided marginally that made Pieterson to find the gap perfectly between the two fielders near the boundary... Infact, the ball bisected those two perfectly resulting in another boundary!

Saleh was frustrated and Ashraful came soon near to the bowler and had few words.

Ball 6 :- Single, Keeping Pieterson On Strike!

Well, in the last ball, Pieterson cunningly took a single in straight and kept strike to face the next over. This over has improved the run rate for England to some extent. 15 runs came from it!

Saleh's over :- 0,6,4,0,4,1

Now pressure and tension exists on both the teams with Seven Overs remaining!

England :- 266/6(43)
Hoggard: 2*(2)
Pieterson : 133*(111)

England Need 57 from 42 Balls.

Brilliant pres. Suren, I think England will sneak home as I cannot see Pietersen getting out after all the luck he has had!

No Bashar!! NOOOO!! How could you!! That's torn it, 15 off the voer and KP is still on strike!
C'mon Bangla, need to do better than this. Just a ight over or so and the pressure is back on!

Huge Blow : Pieterson Departs!

( Mortaza Put an End To a Huge Innings )

kpoutmk2.jpg

Pieterson was going all over and it looked like, KP will finish off for England but Mortaza once again striked at the crucial time with the huge wicket of Pieterson.

Mortaza once again started bowling his tight length which made Kp to frustrate a bit as he wasn't able to go freely over the bowler. With lot of frustration, He managed to hit one huge six of Mortaza that brought his 150 and the very next ball, he smashed a four in offside as there was slight width provided.

But in the fifth ball of Mortaza, Pieterson attempted once again a huge one, but for the first time he was unlucky to get an edge that forced the ball to move towards the fielder, Hossain. But still, the ball was about to go over the head of Hossain but he made an amazing jump & managed to hold the ball that too under lots of pressure. In the end, Hossain cant believe that he has taken an catch.

Mortaza was speechless and stood still near the bowling stumps and still cannot believe that he has got the wicket of Pieterson. Even KP cant believe that he has been dismissed... Also the english dressing room cant believe it.. the coach was having his hands on the head and was eagerly looking whether it might have been a no ball.. Even the England fans can't believe it....This brings Fourth Wicket for Mortaza!

But its time for Pieterson to make his way towards the dressing room. He left that place unwillingly and recived an standing :clap :clap :clap while walking back to dressing room. What an innings this has been.... Well done Kp!

Now England is in danger and they are very close to target with 4 overs remaining.. But there is no Pieterson at the crease... Tail enders have to take some risks if they want to try something different to reach the target!

England :- 291/7(46)
Hoggard: 6*(6)
S.Mahmood : 1*(1)

K.Pieterson : 155(124) Dismissed by Mortaza
England Need 32 from 24 Balls.

ATTA BOYS!!
C'mon!!!
:)
Brillaint Mashrafe, great change of pace!
Fantastic Hossain, excellent fielding, just what we needed!
Jeetayga Bhai Jeetayga, BANGLADESH Jeetayga!! :)
Nice stuff from KP though. :) But he is out :)

It's surely impossible now for England to win, their one day poor form continues.

Bangladesh Win By 3 Runs

( Shocking Defeat for England )

Well, With tail enders facing the last four overs, Hoggard and Mahmood were running hard between the wickets and also was trying to get boundaries. Mortaza once again striked for Bangladesh.

Hoggard, Mortaza's Fifth Victim!

hoggrdoutwy2.jpg

Mortaza was bowling his last over of his spell ( 10th Over ) and ended it well with the wicket of Hoggard! Hoggard in attempting to get a boundary took some risk that forced the ball to travel in air and the fielder near the boundary took an amazing catch to dismiss Hoggard. Once again fielders doing well for Bangladesh.

Mortaza's magic spell ended with Five wickets!

Broad Dismissed in Last Over!

broadoutpd8.jpg

In the last over, England needed 13 Runs with only two wickets in hand. Broad and Mahmood were trying something different like playing cheeky shots to get close to the target and the situation beacame 8 runs from 2 balls. A.Ahmed was the bowler who was given the last over of the innings!

Broad in attempting to hit a four missed the line completely and the ball took the bails off. Broad was dismissed and Ahmed gets his first wicket. Monty Panesar came in with 8 balls from 1 ball.

Monty was helpless in that situation though he was able to smash a four off the last ball taking England very close to the taget. Inspite of the boundary, Bangladesh pulled a close victory over England by 3 Runs!
