* nice start bangla
* ohhhhhhh 2 lost bangladesh.......but they are still in good position
* we want wickets
* freedie and Kp are looking in good form.........Hope they will stay at crease till 40 overs

Zorax said:
* WHOOOOO! C'mon Bangla!
* 400!WHOOOO!!
* C'mon Bangla!! Mortaza and Rafique need to do well, and if Manjural Islam

* Rana, Shadat Hossain and Rajin Saleh can keep it below run-a-ball, Bangla will WIN!!!
Bangladesh ZINDABAD!
This was what I was fearing. Bangla need to keep it full and swinging in the first 7, then pepper them with bouncers and the odd yorker. Should be 2 yorkers per over anyways.
Then, after 7 overs a piece from Mashrafe and Hossain, bringon the tweakers. Keep swapping them around, different angles and ends, make the batsmen work. Cut off the singles, have the spinners vary the pace, make them look for the big hits. Also, keep shining the ball.
Then bring back a seamer alongside the spinners towards the death. The ball should reverse swing now, so keep it full and straight.
Most importantly, they need to be energetic in the field and should hold onto every chance.
Then, I think they can win fairly comfortably

* Excellent yorker, but now let the spinners do their job. Mortaza and Hossain are offering length deliveries, it should be chest high or a yorker...

* It should be Rafique, Saleh and Manjural Islam Rana!!!
Ok, now he needs to keep mixing it up. Swap ends, short spells, different angles, vary the pace and flight. Keep the singles to a minimum, and tempt them to hit over the top.

* Whooo!
Game, set and match folks. One more of these two, and it's all over. And there is plenty of spin to come.
201 runs needed, at 7.18 per over.
C'mon Bangla!!

* C'mon Bangla!! Don't lose your cool. C'mon, we can win this. Keep GoJo on strike, field tightly, and very length and fligh. Nice to see all four spin options used. Maybe it might work to keep the seamers off, make them put pace on the ball. But then again, Hossain and Mortaza can deliver lethal yorkers. KP is the key man, we just need him out...

* Excellent yorker Mashrafe.
Did you know he just got married?
Bangla should win this. Saleh doing well here, just what the situation requires.
4 singles, means KP is on strike. He won't be looking for ones with Hoggy at the other end, so set a defensive field, plenty in the deep. Get him holing out. If he does pick up a single, prevent Hoggy from stealing one. Might be a good idea to have a slip in place for both of them...
C'MON Bangla!!

* No Bashar!! NOOOO!! How could you!! That's torn it, 15 off the voer and KP is still on strike!
C'mon Bangla, need to do better than this. Just a ight over or so and the pressure is back on!

* ATTA BOYS!!
C'mon!!!

* Brillaint Mashrafe, great change of pace!
Fantastic Hossain, excellent fielding, just what we needed!
Jeetayga Bhai Jeetayga, BANGLADESH Jeetayga!!
Nice stuff from KP though. But he is out

* WHOOOOO!
Go BANGLA!
Aftab wasn't suited to this pitch, Rafique and Manjural should have bowled more. But we won, so I'm happy nonetheless

* oh deary me england are playin rubish, but this is a batters track
* oh deary me england look like there are heading out, come on england
* come on freddie, blast though bangladeshi's out of the trophy and we march to the final
* oh look who's at the crease expect some fireworks and the runs coming like rain from the sky, once it starts it doesn't stop for ages...
* england are getting behind the run rate, but with KP and Freddie in they are still in the game
* plz don't lose england
* come on KP, save England.....

Trev said:
* Bangla really ripping into England.
* We might need a very big score here unless England are careful!

gamerkid22 said:
* Bangla playing well
* England has classy players than Bangla ....and Flintoff will bowl them to restrict them below 300 and u know total near 300 is chasable on such wickets
* Pietersen is the key now also England are not that bad that they will lose to Bangladesh
* My favourite team got eliminated now all hopes on India to win this tournament.

Jaztheman said:
* nice to see bangla doing well for a change, against england
* Yeah bangla will win the match and if they do will gfo far in the tourno, unless they get out in the first rounf or second....
* just over 8 an over is good but an early wicket but flintoff is batting well but come on Bangla
* come on spinners get some wickets

Brett_Lee said:
* Bangladesh batted superbly especially against a side like England.
* Might be hard target for england, lets see how the bowlers go for Bangladesh

MWaugh said:
* amazing that bangladesh scored at over six an over while mahmood only went for 2.8 an over. pity he could only bowl 10
* if pieterson continues to stay at the crease then england should win this.
* thats gotta be tough on KP to make 155 in a losing side. awesome match though

jacobfelix said:
* Also notice there are 6 maiden overs in that...so if the match goes down the wire & England win in a thriller then those maidens will be a crucial factor....
* Go get 'em Mortaza
* Come on Mortaza....Knock the Middle Stump of Freddie as well...C'mon, you can do it...
* When the England innings was about to start, I had said - Go get 'em Mortaza.....and it was he who got 'em ...
* I am going to celebrate this victory by going to the nearest pub and gulping down 5 glasses of ...ah....er....Orange Juice :D

Leftie said:
* England will lose anyway so bad light won't matter
* Nice to see England beaten by Bangladesh. Hopefully Bangladesh can continue this form.

!x!culli!x! said:
* Good start from England, hope to see them win this one
* It's surely impossible now for England to win, their one day poor form continues.
* Oh fishsticks! England suffer great embarrassment in this game.
Oh the shame!

iceman_waugh said:
* This is too good.What if Bangla wins the Champions Trophy ?
* Chennai curator must have done an excellent job with the pitch here.
* Any one of them will have to stay throughout the innings to ensure that they don't run into still waters.

aussie1st said:
* Thats a quickfire start by the English, shame about the wicket but interesting move sending Freddy up at 3.
* This is the key partnership for the English these two stay there and this game will be over.
* What a performance by Bangladesh they deserved to win after making such a big first inns total.

Kuttakumar said:

* Bangla needs another wicket.
* If KP fires in the last 10, England can still win this one

GrayNicolls said:
* Come on Bangladeshis. Pull off n amazing win
* The Banglas need to slow the run rate down. Good to see Tresco go, but Bangla need to slow this game down.

rabeta said:
* I think England will sneak home as I cannot see Pietersen getting out after all the luck he has had!

m_vaughan said:
* So close but yet so far. Probably the biggest upset in the history of English cricket. (Even though its in the game)

* Congratulations to Bangladesh though for first setting a massive target and then picking up wickets regularly.
borncricketer said:
* well done by the bangladeshi's to eliminate the English, a huge upset in the tournament already...just shows how intersting the tournament will shape up to be....

Saurabh said:
* I can't believe, Bangladesh has produce an upset in the Champions Trophy.

S.G :- Once again welcome back to Star Sports! Now, its time for the our special Guest in " Guest Area ". Also we have Mr.Geoffrey again with us, to interact with the our special Guest!

S.G :- Well Geoffrey, Can u tell us who the special guest is ;)

G.B :- Sure Sunil.... He is one of the strong supporters of Bangladesh and infact Zimbabwe too ;) We will also show one interesting information displayed by that person, here it is, ;)

Well, really wonder from where that interesting info has been brought from! Its interesting to know that person Geoffrey... Can u tell his name now to our viewers and also we wud connect him directly in this show :)

G.B :- The person is " Mr.Zorax "! He has been backing up Bangladesh right from the start and also expressed his different interesting tactics in Street Talk! Now lets speak to that person directly,

( ...... Contacting Mr.Zorax ....... ) :)

S.G :- Welcome Zorax to this show and we came to know how strongly u have been a supporter of Bangladesh. Lets get into the show directly with the first question from Geoffrey!

G.B :- Hello Zorax, this is the first question,

what do u think of today's match in genreal.. well its a very close contest ended in Bangla's favour.. ur general view on it?

guest1sh4.jpg

S.G :- yeah, thats True, Omar established the initial platform from where Bangla strongly established themselves!

G.B :- Also, Nafees n Ashraful did some fabulous job! Opening partnership for Bangla played an gud role which was absent for England. Now its ur turn Sunil! ;)

S.G :- Here is the next question Zorax,

Kp almost won for England.. Since u were backing Bangla right from the start, how did u feel when Kp was hitting those sixes and fours?

guest2gk2.jpg

G.B :- ah Sunil, u are reminding me of Kp again and again... :( I also feel pity for him to end in loosing side! But as Zorax said, there were chances missed from Bangladesh to get rid of Kp!

S.G :- I will also agree with Zorax that it was bit worrying to see the great innings not able to help for victory of the team! Now ur turn Geoffrey ;)

G.B :- well, Zorax here you go,

Did Bangla win by luck or hard work? ( Luck in the sense, Toss played an crucial role in batting track )

guest3vr3.jpg

S.G :- Well said Zorax! I also agree again that hard work was seen with both the teams infact, but Bangla knew their role what they were doing through out the match!

G.B :- I think England came to know what they were doing only when Flintoff n Pieterson pair was batting!

S.G :- Final question Zorax,

Finally, ur opinion on this show ? :)

guest4kd1.jpg

S.G :- Thanks Zorax for all ur excellent views! :)

G.B :- Also we had a nice little convo with our special guest and we will be continuing this show in remaining matches of Champions Trophy also... Any one of you viewers may get a chance.... So keep ur eyes opened :)

S.G :- Also Thanx Geoffrey for being with us again and that concludes this Guest Area! Hope everyone enjoyed it! We will be back for the next match between NewZealand and SriLankans! Till then bye from us!

G.B :- Bye everyone :)

LIVE

Champions Trophy06,India
SriLanka Vs NewZealand

PreLim Round,Live From Jaipur.

Match1,PreLim Round

( Weather,Pitch Reports and Toss )

Welcome To the Second match Of the Champions Trophy between NewZealand and SriLanka, Live from Jaipur! Lets get back to the the Weather and Pitch Report from Mr.Geoffrey now! :)

Weather Report :- We have a beautiful weather today! Its been a bright sunshine through out the morning..Its hot now but it shd chill up in the nights! Overall, Its a good atmosphere for cricket and we wud be getting full day's play without any interruptions!

Pitch Report

greenpitchku9.jpg

This Pitch is exactly opposite to what we have seen in Chennai. Well, theres a lot of grass on the surface and it shd be helping the fast bowlers a lots. This is going to be a bowler's hunting ground!

Also it will be interesting to see how Muralitharan performs on this pitch thats going to favour the bowlers a lot. Swing and seam, without any doubts, shd be 100% favourable in this surface. Bowlers like Lee,Bond,Ntini,Akthar love to bowl in these type of surfaces. So batsmen have to very watchful while playing the shots!

The team winning the toss wud prbly go for bowling as the new ball might do tricks in fresh wicket. Anything around 250-260 shd be a challenging, infact may be match winning total too! So exciting cricket on the way now :)

Toss :
NewZealand captain, Stephen Fleming won the toss and elected to bowl first. Well, theres no suprise in that decision of bowling first in this bowling ground.

Teams

NewZealand

nzlineupos3.jpg

Its a interesting line up with Astle back to opening position as he used to do before. Also Sinclair in No3 should be a real test as he is back after almost a year playing his first match now after the huge break! Mills,Bond and Franklin seem to be a strong bowling line up with the support of two all rounders Oram & stryris and Vettori in the spin department!

SriLanka

sllineupbg9.jpg

Jayasuriya and Tharanga have played well together many times but new ball is really going to test them! Once again three seamers here, Vaas, Zoysa & Malinga with the support of all rounder Mahroof but there seem to be more spinners compared to Kiwis team. Murali,Jayasuriya & Dilshan in spin department & it shd be interesting whether the skipper uses all the spinners as its majorly a fast bowler's track!

So SriLanka have been put in to bat now. All the Live Actions Coming up on Star Sports Shortly!

SriLanka :- 0/0(0)
Tharanga : 0*(0)
Jayasuriya : 0*(0)

Bond and Franklin Sharing the New Ball!

Hopefully the Lankans can take this one. Though NZ bowling first gives them a big advantage.

* Bond,Franklin,Mills Vs Vaas,Zoysa,Malinga --- almost of equal strength though Bond gains upper hand marginally ;)

* Styris Vs Mahroof --- Equally good!

* Oram Vs ??? ---- This might cost huge for Lankans as pace bowlers are main advantage here

* Vettori Vs Murali ---- Murali clearly gains upper hands but its uncertain how pitch behaves for spinners!

* Astle Vs Jayasuryia ( part Timers ) --- its Doubt whether these will be used!

:)
