Story India's Journey To World Cup 2011 [Commonwealth Bank Series 2010]

I will go with Bhaji and Zack sionce rainy conditions help bowlers a bit ;) , and i predict that either team will win the test match in or within day 4 :)

You can only predict till the start of Indian second innings. :)

Sehwag doesn't need favorable conditions. He can be devastating anywhere everywhere.

Nice start for India!

So the Indian openers came to bat. With 1 up in the series there was less pressure on Indian's but England too forgot the past and concentrated on the present. England bowlers bowled very well in the starting Sehwag was not able to play big strokes and it seemed that Sehwag is not in his best form.

As soon as Sehwag reached double figures he suddenly got some form. After all he made hundred in the last match and it was obvious that he will soon feel that he is in touch. After that it was all Sehwag Sehwag and Sehwag!!! Gambhir did well to rotate the strike as always. He knew that his job is to give as much strike to Sehwag as possible because he knew that once Sehwag gets settled he will play a big innings.

It was getting close to the lunch. So Sehwag decided to play some big strokes. Lian Plunkett was brought into the attack and it couldn't have been a worst start for him. Sehwag made sure he doesn't allow Plunkett to settle and hit him all around the park. Sehwag had no respect for Plunkett. Soon Sehwag reached his well made fifty and continued his good form. But after few balls after reaching his fifty he got out. Stuart Broad got the some swing Sehwag tried to push the ball on the straight but got a thick edge and Alastair Cook at slip took a very good catch. Sehwag departed on 54.

After Sehwag dismissal Gambhir started playing few strokes and taking his strokes forward. Gambhir has not been in a great form but in this match he is getting some form. On other hand Dravid started off in his typical fashion. He is trying to get settle in the middle would he be able to play a big innings? No one knows lets see after the lunch.

IND : 111/1(33 Overs )[R/o=3.36]
G.Gambhir : 44*(91)
R.Dravid : 9*(36)

Last Wicket : V.Sehwag : 54(71)

To Be Continued....
