I had no net all morning, so here are a few of the thoughts I have had since play -
Its a different wicket and ideally 280-290 would be a fine score, but India would feel short even at 310 given how the bowling and fielding has been in the previous two games.
Dhawan's knock shows why ODIs are the perfect alternative to tests. In T20 its all senseless hitting. If you are not scoring at a run a ball you are a problem. There is no room for a batsman to work his way in, find some form, score the hard tough gritty tuns. Its either score or get out swinging the bat wildly ASAP so that the next guy can come in an start swinging his bat wildly. In ODIs there is still room for that, and a batsman still has room to do the basics and find form, to score the tough runs.
Pleased that Rishi Dhawan has finally got a debut. Kohli keeps improving and its great to see him score so consistently again.
Also two women feeling each other up in a condom ad, is perhaps not the best ad to put in between overs during a cricket game, on a Sunday morning where kids are watching in numbers in India.
