Again, the non selection of Ashwin is really surprising. He played 2 matches on the pitch which doesn't assist the spinners and now he is being discarded on the pitches which are actually spin friendly. Just can't understand what's Shastri and Dhoni's thinking behind it. He has been our best bowler for a while now. Just give him some chances to prove himself.

Well... I don't drink. On a serious note, I have seen Rahane struggle to up the tempo when it comes to the overs where India need to be bashing the ball around. The game has become so much more faster and a lot more aggressive. Dravid played in an era where scores of 225-250 was good and defendable. In today's era, even 400+ is not safe. I am not saying that Rahane must be dropped. But he needs to play higher because he gets more time in and it gives him the platform to set himself up.

Good first wickets for Bumrah and Rishi Dhawan. Especially the one to Rishi Dhawan was a good wicket. Beat Bailey with that one.
