India's tour of Australia - January 2016

I dont want to be too critical but Indian fielders have to now hit the stumps when fielding. There have been quite a few calls that would have been out, had they hit, but they haven't.

Why is Ashwin being held back for so long?

Smith Bailey must stay till 40 over.
Then Maxwell rest 10 over bang.
310 easy target for Australia.

Need some bowling switch. Pacers should bowl few overs, certainly they will need to bowl some bouncers as the ball is not swinging and I think cutters wouldn't work either. Let the ball get soften, we can find some spin or at least some movement in favor of spinners. At the moment, ball is just traveling a straighter path.

India is losing the match from here.

think the match is done and dusted though! Cant see aus loosing from here! Bailey has made full use of the chance from ump mistake!

Spinners have been neutralized by the pitch!

India's bowling has been very poor, have bowled both sides of the wicket. With that kind of line, its hard to set fields. Australia's to lose tihs match from hereon.

If the bowling is similar till the end of match, maybe Dhoni will be tempted to bring in Rishi Dhawan instead of jaddu ? This match is Australia's easily.

I think dhoni has to realize today is not his day and stop bowling him!

To be fair ashwin has been poor rather than all the bowlers!

If Dhoni has to bowl Jadeja, and wants to back him, then the other option is open with Manish Pandey and Rohit and drop one Shikhar Dhawan for Rishi Dhawan. But yeah its clear India need that extra bowler, should have Rishi Dhawan in the second ODI side.

Poor Rohit Sharma. He scored 100 in first T20 vs SA, India lost. And now this.

Aus should win easily from here. India were 40 runs short and ashwin has again disappointed outside the subcontinent. Expected more from him.
