India's tour of West Indies June 2011

hmmm....so another delayed start because of rain.....:facepalm Now if this thing continues for next 2 days also we might expect a draw....
However, with all these low scores :D....we may also have a result in the remaining time available.....:D

I don't think Ishant can bowl better than this without getting a wicket. Absolutely fantastic bowling this morning. Top notch.

Cant agree more, Ishant has bowled beautifully in all the overs he has bowled. Knocking off heads is what the old Ishant is

Leave that topic.

Back on Mithun's break was needed. They both were looking good. I feel 175 is what WI will get

WI are well set to get a lead here. It could prove crucial because chasing in the 4th innings on this pitch is not going to be very easy and they would have done well if they get a lead of around 25 runs. India should quickly wrap it up soon and get whatever lead they can.

Happy to see Ishant bowling with lot of effort and purpose. His speeds have been very encouraging to see. Consistently in the 140's. 9 wickets already with the first innings of the 2nd test still to complete is great returns. India's bowling attack is settled for England - Zaheer, Ishant, Praveen Kumar, Sreesanth, Munaf Patel (if we go with 5 seamers; if only four, Munaf misses out)

So Ishant Sharma congratulations on becoming 5th youngest player to take 100 wickets in test matches.

What a comeback series is this for him

A 11 run is a good lead on this pitch. I see Mukund Kohli and Laxman playing this inning. A 275 run target is what I am expecting

Do they fix FTP based on the expected weather ?? Yet another delay

That's the last match I wanted to see Murali. May be draft in Jaffer back for next small series

This. What a waste of an opening slot! He just seems to keep on failing inspite of being given countless number of chances. That is the only problem with the South Indian cricketers, they are the exact opposite of 'capitalization' . First Dinesh Karthik, next Badrinath, now Vijay, next up is Mukund. :facepalm

Mukund? Hate to break it to you, but he's only played 3 innings until this one. Stop jumping to conclusions.

Let me tell you that I'll be the happiest person if he gels for India. But I just don't see it in him and its just a mere prediction, not a conclusion!

Mukund played well for his 48 runs. Sehwag is not sure about the England series but dont see him getting into the side.

Well Dravid is wall but he is playing too slowly.

I don't think you understand how difficult it is to play on this pitch. Everyone has struggled to score runs.

There will most likely not be a result as tomorrow's weather isn't looking too good. Their objective should just be to stay at the crease. The runs will come and if you are in a position to declare then do so, but there's no pressure to force the issue because then everyone will get out, one after the other.
