He is not doing it intentionally. He has to be extra watchful, because nobody else will. He is the player around whom the team must bat. If the bad balls come, he will go for it, but there haven't been many on this pitch. Every time you think you're past that tough phase, you are confronted with a snorter that makes you cautious again and pushes you two steps backwards. Mukund learned that the hard way by losing his wicket after those boundaries when he was just starting to look comfortable.

Let me tell you that I'll be the happiest person if he gels for India. But I just don't see it in him and its just a mere prediction, not a conclusion!

Two good innings from Mukund (25 at Sabina Park, and 48 today). He definitely looks far more tighter than Vijay, and a guy who can grind it out in the middle against the new ball. Mukund should be the back up opener for India if either of Sehwag or Gambhir dont play.

Good decision by Dhoni to declare with a tantalising target set for the WI. They can think of going for it, but in the process, they most likely will end up losing wickets and gift India the match.

Yeah, its going to be difficult for them to bat out 60 overs unless rain interrupts (doesn't look like it though). I'm really hoping Harbhajan does something big in this innings, been a while since he has done something of note with his bowling.

Ishant has been excellent to say the least in this series. 14 wickets already and his speeds are consistently above 140. Hope this guy is properly handled and kept fresh by rotating him and giving him enough rest like how Zaheer does. When Ishant is back, it gives the pace attack a good feel to it.
