You seem to be of the opinion that a captain who cannot win the World Cup for his country should be among the worst.
That ways you are calling captains like Hansie Cronje and Stephen Fleming as one of the worst.

"Look at some of his decision post the World Cup and even in the World Cup.
He was spineless and couldnt enforce a follow on in Enlgnad when India could have won the match.
Other things-ODI's versus England,stupid toss decisions which cost India the match"

dravid is not the only person to be blamed ..he was let down by his team
...also there was conflict btw seniors and coach ..and greg chappel stopped talkin to sehwag,sachin ..they arent playing as a team.....he tried to ...but bcci forced him to continue

dravid is not agressive like dhoni or saruv..he never was a fielder like jhonty or collingwood ..and dont say he is worst fielder..he is very good in slips region.. also he is calm guy and too soft in real life

he is been send at no3 wen india were struggling..he is send at no5 or no6 wen india is playin well..so he cudnt get used to it...he is great player..wen he keeps going

mate..he was worried that india will be all out..there been occasions..where india lost the matches wen they were in driver seat...we are talking abt the whole series ...if india were all out for a low second innings...england wud have chased the target and squared the series.....after seein sachin tendulkar middle stump..flying in the air..i thwat...india r gonna be bowled out less than 100 runs

India lost badly to Bangladesh.
There might not have been such a huge uproar had Bangla beaten us by 1 wicket.Against Sri Lanka,they lost a match which was very ,uch in their hands.
Dravid should have placed his field well.
How would you explain his body-language.

Well,i'm not saying he's the worst,though the worst captain was undoubtedly Sachin Tendulkar.

Well,he was.
I'm aware of that.
However a few people do not think too highly of him,the way he relinquished his captaincy.Also,he became the first captain after M.Azharuddin[1992]and S.Venkatraghvan[1975 n1979] to lead to India's first round exit.

Blame 11 players for a WC early exit, or even credit the determination of Bangladesh, but don't blame the captain/coach for a team failure. They all have their own roles to play.

y everyone wants to blame dravid..wen the theymade two diff groups in the team during world cup ...saruv group and sachin group...remember greg said seniors are acting like mafia....they r not allowing dravid to take his decisions...

didnt dravid waged a lone battle against srilankans....?..

the bdesh match..dravid and coach decided to bowl first..coz there is swing in the pitch..but our seniors..who want to show off their batting power against minnow teams...decide to bat first ..the ball swinged..and india were all out for a low score...dravid..was kept under pressure by media, his coach and seniors...and also after playing well in the warmup matches..the team thought it will be be cake walk against bdesh

all these things r covered by bcci..coz they dont want spoil the reputation of indian cricket..the whole inside story was leaked by the indian selectors....which was shown on headlines today news channel


u shud realize that dravid...didnt failed as captain...whole indian team failed...
if he had failed as a captain..he wud have been re appointed as captain by bcci after worldcup defeat

dravid didnt played well for 5 matches..and he was dropped and karthink replaced him..what the heck karthik do ?..he got out for duck....

And i must confess that there is a post bearing my name saying
-India will win the World Cup 2007 if Dravid is the captain.

dravid was forced to be a captain..wen sorav was sacked..
same thing wit dhoni..rahul dravid resigned and he was the captain..both never thought they will be captains...

IMO tendulkar is a great batsmen but worst captain..dravid is great batsmen but a average captain....sorav seems to be a a normal player (he is great odi batsmen but not so great test batsmen)and a great captain...
i hope dhoni will be a great wicket keeper batsmen and a great captain

Eventhough i always support Tendulkar, it makes completely no sense to hand over the captaincy job to him who have repeatedly denied for the same.
