Ha ha. I have had guys waiting to bat shout "play a shot, Dave!" at me. Think that was when I was on about 9 after 10 overs... Sped right up though, ended up out in the 21st over for 38. Slow but was actually top score!!

My proudest innings I was batting at 6, this one guy ripped through our top order (after having smashed us for like 70 when batting)... He took 4 or 5 wickets in his first 2 and a half overs, and I played out his last 5 and a half overs till he had finished his 8. Didn't score a single run off him, but didn't get out. Fastest guy I ever faced - even in a damp slow pitch. Chatting to him after and he played First Grade in Aus - this was club 2nd XI game no wonder we couldn't live him. He didn't get me out though!!!
 
Play a shot Dave!!! Lol I'm the opposite the skipper's always sayin "plenty o time Ad, play yourself in " I tell myself take your time block the first few, but my eyes light up and the cow corner shot comes out!!! I may block a couple if a bowler very quick but if its the spinner I've got no control over myself!!! Maybe next season ill block a bit more!!
 
To put this in perspective, AFL Live didn't have an interactive replay mode. I loved that game to death, but lack of interactive replay was a HUGE bummer.

Forget the detail behind it, just having this feature is a big step up.

Ok. So to answer some of above - this is an Instant replay system that can be called at any time via the pause menu and includes replays of a number of previous deliveries. I still do not believe that previously there was an Instant replay system available for use at any time in the previous titles, but of course I could be wrong (and probably am, just haven't had time to have a closer look and fire up the old EA game to check when you could call it).

That sounds really awesome and yeah you are correct no other game had anything like that :thumbs

Sounds really nice when you put it like that, this made me think it would be really cool if at the end of an over you could have a replay over option. you know how skysports show all the deliveries of the over quickly where it starts from the bowler releasing, the batsmen playing the shot/missing/out then it fades into the next delivery all really quickly. that'd be awesome!
 
Side Note: Who was that guy the other day banging on about there being no interest in this game anymore and citing "views of threads" for this disinterest... looks like there's plenty of interest based on this most recent thread. Some people are dumbasses...
 
just leave it for another two or three posts he will be right back to it.its like when the dog drags his ass along the carpet, might not do it for a while but then you walk into the room and hes just begging for an ass race.

He made mistake Biggs, lighten up as the wait for this game has been different for all of us. Me I tried not to post as much till something cool shows up. PS Still that reply system looks killer.:clap

PS I can see a 50 not out from Blocker Dave, scored of 350 balls and he replays every single and defence shot from the middle of the bat. wait that sounds like when I bat but I get like 2 of 20 and out.:facepalm
