Interactive Replay "Sneak Peek"- Don Bradman Cricket 14

the multiple deliveries is epic...

imagine setting up a batsman with 4 big away singers then getting one to nip back and getting him plumb in front, then being able to cycle back and watch all of that, from multiple angles?

or a whole over of me playing out a maiden when we require 30 from 15 balls...

this is an Instant replay system that can be called at any time via the pause menu and includes replays of a number of previous deliveries.

Previous deliveries is a new feature to cricket games IIRC

Yes. AFAIK this is certainly a first. And as blockderdave said, watching a whole over where a batsman was troubled a lot would be very pleasing as a bowler.

Why is the non-striker and the bowler on the same side of the stumps?:noway

by the way, not that this is the case but it is actually possible for the bowler and non-striker to be on the same side, depending on where the bowler approaches from.

This reminds me of the over that M. Aamer bowled to Shane Watson! E.P.I.C bowling that was. *Tears in eyes*

No worries.

Ok. So to answer some of above - this is an Instant replay system that can be called at any time via the pause menu and includes replays of a number of previous deliveries. I still do not believe that previously there was an Instant replay system available for use at any time in the previous titles, but of course I could be wrong (and probably am, just haven't had time to have a closer look and fire up the old EA game to check when you could call it).

Ross: The previous games had replay as a feature and not as a system .... And they did not have for many previous deliveries but only the previous delivery.... :D

Just to clarify for that one person who still has some doubt.

I have played pretty much every cricket game going last 20 years and can confirm DBC14 will be the first to have replays of a number of previous deliveries. :cheers

You would be right unless you consider Cricket 97 ATE where you could save replays and play them anytime you wanted.

Have seen that happen occasionally and it might be worth having in the game to add to realism.

Be hilarious if the camera pans to your batting partner shaking his head in disgust as you block a wide long hop!!!
