Zimbabwe were 198 for 5 in 40 overs with 80 needed to win in 60 balls and the batsmen were striking well Chigumbara again was looking dangerous with 4 of the first ball he faced and they looked like winning the game with 50 runs coming in last 5 overs of power play

But it wasn't to be when the hero of the match A.Cusack picked up 4 wickets in just one over including a hattrick! and it was all over for zimbabwe when Mpofu started hitting Cusack for boundaries.But his partner Kyle Jarvis fell to Stirling to give Ireland a 51 run victory

Ireland won the ODI series 2-1

This gives Ireland a bulk of confidence to move on for their first test match.
This will be a historic game for Ireland
