Ireland though had a hefty task to chase.
But they got of to a decent start again but lost the openers without reaching fifties

They reached 175 after 40 overs but the required rate was over 8 an over

But trying to reach the required run rate they fell one by one to give Zimbabwe a victory.

Man of the Match was given to H.Masakadza for 59 and 3 wickets.
The series has been leveled with 1-1 and Zimbabwe are the favorites to win the title.

Good welcome to story forums, my only suggestion is to have a some write up for a story. I see a good story line here & all it needs is some writing up to make it a one.

In the third ODI Ireland won the toss and chose to bat first.
But they lost both the openers before the 20th over.Porterfield was looking good but was dismissed trying to hit a six over midwicket.Two new batsmen on the field meant that problems started for ireland

But they controlled well to reach 200 in the 40th over for the loss of 5 wickets.
They lost all the set batsman without making a 50.A.Cusack was looking good on 12(29) but was very slow But they accelerated really well to reach a mammoth score of 277.With Cusack hitting all over the park he ended up with 46(42) before getting out in the same fashion in which porterfield got out.
Then they experienced a collapse after Cusack's wicket but the last pair smashed 30 runs in 3 0vers to give Ireland a respectable score.
