one of the funniest "sad" story ive heard is a Darwin Award story.
it was where a man tried to get 5 pounds of washing into the washing machine by jumping, when he sliped and fell into it.
While that happened he had also knocked over a bottle of bleach and baking soda. The bleach landed in his eyes which blinded him and also landed in his mouth which made him barf up. The barf attracted his dog which came and took a piss on the baking soda, creating a small explosion. Both the man and the dog died.
this story was confirmed true by Darwin
