What's the point in making a stat if you leave out his golden eras. He is fantastic vs Australia, if you can do that you're special.

One good series, and one hundred and two starts from 10 innings last series. Average of 32.6 over last series, overall average of about 47 against us- even by itself that is hardly fantastic, and it's the result of the one good series in 02/03.

Since that 02/03 series he's had 1 real series (real meaning without Bangladesh) out of 8 where he's averaged over 37. Indicates that he's been worked out, and if he wasn't captain I'm sure he'd be having a great time playing county cricket.
