With Sussex so far behind in the match and going on the way they batted in their first innings many of the spectators grudgingly expected to see Sussex bat out the day and try for a draw. They couldn't have been more wrong.

Adams' terrible match however is over pretty quickly. He comes down the wicket far too soon in his innings and is bowled by Patel for a duck.
Ward then goes without an increase in the scoreline.

Mushtaq Ahmed is next to fall. Joseph removes Ahmed's middle stump when amazingly he doesnt offer a shot to a yorker.
Henderson is next to get a wicket as Kent cut through the Sussex lineup.
Joseph gets Kirtley for 7 when Walker takes another catch to wrap up the Sussex innings, for 125, in just over an hour to give Kent victory by an innings and 103 runs.
