(FIRSTLY IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME HOW TO POST PICS WITHOUT LINKS IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED) (SORRY I ACCIDENTLY DELETED SOME OF THE PICS SO NONE OF THE LINKS NOW WORK. YOU CAN TELL I'M NEW TO THIS POSTING OF IMAGES STUFF)

I am using Tutsi's A.I. Patch v6.0 on Medium difficulty

Once again the cricket season is upon us again! This season we will be following Kent closely and analysing them every step of the way. D.Fulton is still captain and R.Key is now vice-captain, with G.Jones still behind the stumps. Kent are in division 2 for the National League and Division 1 for the Frizzel County Championship.

The first match of the season for Kent is a National League match at Canterbury where Kent are going to be playing Derbyshire. The pitch looks to be a batsmen's wicket. Derbyshire win the toss and suprisingly decide to bowl first:

Kent get off to a slow start with only 13 runs being scored in the first five overs. However at least there have been no early wickets, not even any close calls:

Cricket20052007-01-0715-27-12-23.jpg

After another 5 overs the run rate has picked up with there now being 31 runs from 10 overs. This was helped by boundaries from D.Fulton:

and M.Walker

Cricket20052007-01-0715-30-15-59.jpg

The left, right combination appearing to make the opening bowlers lose their line.

The 50 partnership comes up after 15 overs with D.Fulton leading from the front by easily being the main contributor

Cricket20052007-01-0715-44-01-17.jpg

D.Fulton lead's from the front and answers his critics who say he should not be captain by scoring his half-century

Cricket20052007-01-0715-51-48-03.jpg

After 20 overs the score is 81/0

(ALL MY PICS FROM NOW ON WILL BE LIKE THIS. TO MUCH EFFORT TO CHANGE THE PREVIOUS ONES)

(WELL NOW I HAVE GONE AND CHANGED THEM SO THEY DO WORK)

Disaster strikes. Moments after reaching his half century, D.Fulton is out caught at square leg trying to do an attempted hook shot which went straight up in the air.

Momments later M.Walker is dismissed as well caught at square leg, however this time he was trying to do a glance of his legs and the slower delivery meant that he spooned it upon in the air to which A.Botha took a great catch

(MORE PICS SOON BUT NEED TO UPLOAD THEM AND NEED TO FINISH THE INNINGS FIRST. COMMENTS GOOD AND BAD WELCOME)

Here is the great catch by A.Botha

Cricket20052007-01-0715-54-45-90.jpg

So now we have two new batsmen at the crease R.Key the vice-captain and M.van Jaarsveld.

The score after 25 overs is 115/2

Cricket20052007-01-0716-00-45-34.jpg

Disaster another wicket falls

R.Key trying to drive straight over the bowler was caught after scoring 13 runs with a textbook catch being taken. Things look dangerous for Kent now with 3 wickets down and only 139 runs scored

Stevens comes to the crease and hits a cracking cover drive which goes for four to get off the mark

Cricket20052007-01-0716-08-38-73.jpg

After 30 overs the score is 134/3

Cricket20052007-01-0716-08-48-26.jpg

Stevens is bowled by J.Moss for 21. Stevens began to lose pacience with all the singles being scored and so advanced down the wicket. Moss saw him coming however and took his offstump

M.van Jaarsveld reaches his half century in style by smacking a four over the bowlers head. A very calm and crucial innings

Cricket20052007-01-0718-08-04-15.jpg

A.Hall gets off the mark with nicley timed leg glance which runs for a 4

Cricket20052007-01-0718-11-36-90.jpg

HALL LOSES HIS WICKET CHEAPLY

A.Botha who had been bowling poorly with numerous wides bowled a short one which Hall attempted to put straight back over his head missed and turned to see the bails off the stumps

Cricket20052007-01-0718-13-29-28.jpg

With only 1 over left M.van Jaarsveld really opens up with some well struck fours

Cricket20052007-01-0718-11-07-14.jpg

With the last ball of the innings M.van Jaarsveld attempts to slog sweep but misses with the ball hitting his pads and spinning over the keepers head it goes to the fielder at short third man. The batsmen attempt a single and it is reffered to the third umpire who gives G.Jones out.

Kent finish on 221/6

Wow I like this story its got good balance what I mean is your not totally running away with the game its realistic nice one ;)

A Suggestion would be to try and use like adboard packs and county stumps and Burmas batpack it doesnt really matter but it adds to the realisim ;)

Nice work so far. You might want to cut out the not important parts of the pictures, good old paint can help you with that ;)

Kent need early wickets if they want to win this match.

Derbyshire get off to a quick start but lose two early wickets to the superb bowling of A.Hall who kept his line consistent throughout.

Cricket20052007-01-0809-08-45-46.jpg

M.Di Venuto perished when he attempted a pull shot and hit it to early resulting in it going too high resulting in a simple catch for D.Fulton

The Kent bowlers rip through the Derbyshire batting order with Derbyshire taking 25 overs to get to 50/7. The pick of the bowlers have been A.Hall and the spinner R.Ferley who although he has not taken any wickets yet has barely given any runs away

One of the few boundaries scored by Derbyshire, resulting from a looser delivery from S.Cook

Cricket20052007-01-0809-23-39-21.jpg

R.Joseph gets his first wicket

Cricket20052007-01-0809-27-22-76.jpg

A close shout for an LBW of S.Cook's bowling. Replays later showed it should have been out

Cricket20052007-01-0809-32-53-31.jpg

It doesn't matter because S.Cook gets him out two balls later coming around the wicket
