Kent get off to a flying start

There were a few scares for M.Walker especially this shot which just missed the edge of the bat

However The 50 partnership finally arrives. H.Streak is going to be worried about the number of extras that have been conceded

Kent lose their two openers in quick succession

Disaster strikes

M.Walker is the first to go edging to third slip

This brings the vice-captain R.Key to the crease

Shortly after R.Key arrives D.Fulton calls for a quick single however some good fielding from H.Streak results in a run out

This brings M.van Jaarsveld to the crease who is hoping to continue his good form. He gets off the mark straight away with a boundary down to third man

The two batsmen become very comfortable and the boundaries begin to flow

At lunch on the first day the score is 97/2.

Right I am going to end this story and start a new one. i know now why the pics don't work. It is because I deleted them from my account. So I will restart soon. If possible can I erase this
