Kent v Lancashire - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Canterbury
Day 1 - 1st Session

Match Abandoned and Autoplayed. Save Game Error

The sun is out but there is a chill in the air when Key wins the toss and decides to bat first on a firm looking wicket.

Kent openers Fulton and Walker put on 77 for the first wicket before Fulton edges to the keeper on 31.

Fellow opener Walker then falls just short of his half century.

Kent continue to stutter after a solid start when van Jaarsveld sends Key back to his crease and he is run out.

The final wicket of the session falls just 3 balls before the break. Dexter never looked completely settled at the crease and gives away an easy wicket.

Kent go in for lunch with an impressive 146 runs on the board but with 4 wickets down.

this is a big game, lancs are a good side, they should be up the top, but they are disappointing

It would probably help if the stupid AI selected Freddie and Jimmy to bowl, they are both in the side.

thats another bug, they neveer get their best bowlers to bowl enough overs

Yep, Cork may have 2 wickets, but he's bowled for the complete session and gone for over 6 an over. I wouldn't mind guessing he bowls the entire second session too.

Hey Kev excellent presentation. What are your PC Specifications?
I've got an ageing Athlon 1700 system with an Ati 9550 graphics card. Expect to see flashier graphics from next week though ;)

well nice to get 140+ runs in an session with only few wickets left but lancs will hopefully put up a fight when they bat:)

Kent v Lancashire - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Canterbury
Day 1 - 2nd Session

Match Abandoned and Autoplayed. Save Game Error

Martin van Jaarsveld and Dwayne Bravo make good progress after lunch and van Jaarsveld soon reaches fifty.

mvjrt6.jpg

Bravo is starting to look more confident and he spots a big gap in the field and attempts to slog the ball. Unfortunatley for him, he completely misses and is bowled.

The departure of Bravo brings Jones to the crease. His partnership with van Jaarsveld doesnt last long though and van Jaarsveld is finally out for 76. van Jaarsveld will be gutted to have given his wicket away with such a lazy shot.

Jones is joined by Henderson and the pair score freely. Jones' fifty comes up in good time.

And the pair reach their 100 partnership shortly before the tea break.

At tea Kent are 327/6.

This game is ridiculous. Why the hell has Dom bowled 26 overs and Flintoff and Anderson only 4 between them?!

Go Lancs.

Day 1 - 3rd Session

Match Abandoned and Autoplayed. Save Game Error

Henderson and Jones continue after tea and Henderson reaches his half century.

Henderson goes on to reach 69 before he becomes Mahmood's first victim.

w7wd7.jpg

Jones is joined by Patel. The pair bat well and Jones continues his good form and reaches his century after being stuck in the nineties for what must have seemed like an age.

Patel joins Jones in celebration when he makes his half century shortly afterwards. Almost immediatley though the partnership is broken, Jones gives Mahmood his second wicket and Kent are 468/8.

Mahmood takes a third wicket to remove Patel for 63.

w9yq5.jpg

Flintoff finishes off Kent in the final over of the day when Keedy takes another catch, removing Khan for 14.

Its been a great day in the field for Kent, they made 520 runs with all of the batsmen reaching double figures.

Day 2 - 1st Session

Match Abandoned and Autoplayed. Save Game Error

Chilton and Sutcliffe open the batting for Lancashire and they proceed at a snails pace. It takes until just after 12:30 for the first wicket to fall, Chilton is bowled by Patel for 9.

w1ck9.jpg

Freddie Flintoff comes out to bat and the traveling Lancashire fans will be hoping to see a little more of him batting than they did bowling. Unfortunatley for them, and to the delight of the Kent fans, Khan bowls him last ball before lunch for just 4 runs.
