If I could find one where the batsmen were a little more agressive when they are defensive and a little less agressive when they were attacking, I would. What I dont want is all the other changes, I dont want more/less edges, faster bowlers, different markers etc etc. With aBbh's stroke variation patch I'm having a lot more fun with the game, but yes I do need to speed them up a bit.

Kent v Lancashire - Liverpool Victoria County Championship - Canterbury

Simulated Result From Start Of Match Due To Save Game Error.

Unfortunatley due to a saved game error, I was unable to recover this match and have autoplayed it.

Kent opened and set 383/3dec. Lancashire followed that batting until 11:30 on day four and setting a total of 591ao. Predictably the match ended as a draw from this point.

The next match sees the start of the new Pro40 championship.

With aBbh's stroke variation patch I'm having a lot more fun with the game, but yes I do need to speed them up a bit.

I'm the same mate, the stroke variation patch really made batting enjoyable again

Thats fair enough chaps, i used to be the same. But i find it harder to get the cpu out, and much more boring when they just constantly leave all the time. I just had a quick go, without the patch and marshall for gloucester was 0 from 30 odd balls lol :

Surrey v Kent - Natwest Pro40 Division 2 - The Oval
1st Innings

The first match for Kent of the new Pro40 championship takes place at The Oval. Its a damp pitch and the skies are overcast and Kent win a crucial toss and put Surrey into bat first.

2nd Over

Surrey make a terrible start and Newman is bowled by Henderson for a duck.

Butcher walks out and straight back again, Surrey are 2 down for no runs.

3rd Over

Who'd be a Leftie facing Kent? Surrey lose their third wicket, this time its to Khan and still the score is stuck on zero.

5th Over

Khan strikes again, at least Surrey are off the mark. But Ramps goes for a duck.

7th Over

Kent will be wondering if they are playing Surrey or a village side when in the 7th over, Khan strikes again.

10th Over

Clarke is next to go as Dexter picks up his first wicket.

13th Over

Actually, even a village team would put up more resistance than this. Batty goes for a duck to Bravo and the score is 13/7.

18th Over

Kumble is next to fall, for 1 run.

20th Over

The crowd can't believe it, its a catch! Azhar Mahmood is caught by Martin van Jaarsveld from the bowling of Darren Stevens for 4 and Surrey are 17/9.

22nd Over

There will be a big queue at the ticket office demanding refunds, when in the 22nd over, Surrey slump to 19 all out. Stevens gets his third wicket, bowling Mohammad Akram for a duck.

I normally restart when i see these damp/wet wickets, its just to unrealistic.

Seriously though kev, how the hell do you bowl them out like that one after the other. I can bowl people out, but mainly with the special ball yorker.

omg that is just truly great but rubbish, this just proves how poor ea have made this game. 1 - it is a limited overs game and they are going at less than 1 an over, 2 - bowling them out for 19

Surrey v Kent - Natwest Pro40 Division 2 - The Oval
2nd Innings

Kent open with Walker and Fulton, neither have shown any form in the short form of the game this season and both are struggling here too. In the 5th over Walker mis-times a slog and is caught.

Key joins Fulton at the crease and it takes until the 8th over for Kent to reach the target set by Surrey.

When interviewed after the match Fulton (who top scored in the match with 14 not out) said he thought the pitch was totally unplayable and the match should never had gone ahead. ECB officials would not comment.

Unsurprisingly Kent top the table after 1 match.
