Last Movie You Watched

A Serious Man

This is actually the first Coen brothers movie I've seen, but I've heard loads about them and was expecting something great. I wasn't disappointed. A brilliant film! The comedy is dark but brilliant and the themes of the film is great. I like how you can look into it as much as you want, especially the ending.

just saw home alone parts 1 2 and 4 hehehe so damn funny.

Yeah, if you are like 11. :spy

Anyway, had a bit of a movie marathon recently with friends. Watched Saw VI which was quite good.. I've seen every one in the series now, eagerly awaiting VII. I don't agree with the people who say it's getting stale, they keep on managing to expand on the storyline on each film and all of the stuff is quite interesting.

Also saw Catacombs which was a bit bland considering we watched it at about 5:30am and didn't get to the ending which is the best part of it (I vaguely recall seeing the film before) as well as Friday the 13th, the new one. Watched some soft porn as well like American Pool which badly failed despite some early potential and some movie about college.

Saw VI was the pick of them though.

I do not seem to recall the song Nick sings in Winterfest 86 in Hot Tub Time Machine. Any help?

I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for Inception. Leonardo+Nolan, this movie will be legendary.

I am eagerly waiting for it too. Already rumors that its serving as an inspiration (even before its release) for a South Indian movie directed by the same guy who directed 'Ghajini' (and Ghajini was loosely based off Nolan's "Memento")

I hope Inception lives up to all its expectations...

Saw Eclipse, was good I guess, better than the previous one at least

^I watched it today too, and I can say pretty decent movie, loved the comedy, loved the actions, loved Cruise.

Great movie.

Well Pranav, where did you went to watch it?

'Shutter Island'. After all the big hype about it, I wasnt actually excited after watching the film. Maybe psychological thrillers dont excite me as much as other kinds of thrillers. For me, I will give it 2.5/5

Just watched it, and thought it was a good film, But i do like psychological thrillers, So i will give it 3.5/5

I actually thought K&D was okay. It was not that bad or good. Not enough of action, romance or comedy. It just fell short.

Saw an old movie, 'Collateral' (2004) starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx last night. I loved it! It was really gripping and entertaining. Only thing is, Tom Cruise didnt carry off that 'old man look' convincingly. It was just white hairs on the head but the face didnt say he is quite old.

(500) Days of Summer.

So good, and therapeutic for someone in my situation :(

That's an awesome movie. One of the best from last year. Definitely in my top 3 for the year.

Just watched Knight & Day. Good movie. Had its moments. The reviews are mixed, but I think this is the sort of movie that people will like generally, but critics won't.
