Last Movie You Watched

Finally saw Shutter Island. Wow. I loved it. I feel a little cheated that
he didn't remember what happened the previous day when the movie ends and he thinks he's Edward Daniels again, but I think that in hindsight, I'm happier that they didn't go for the Hollywood style ending.
Definitely one of the better movies I've seen.

The ending was realistic, most cases are not happy endings, usually though they would never perform a lobotomy on someone like him, you have to be really suicidal/violent for that to happen.

You got it wrong mate.
He did remember, but he wanted to die anyways. The reason being he said to his partner before he left, "If you had a choice would die a hero or live to be a monster" - something like that :p Can't remember exactly. But the point being after he realised what a monster he had become. He did not want to live. He preferred to die as a war hero who cannot remember his past!

Maybe because it was made by Chistopher Nolan- who managed to get hold of huge fan following due to Dark Knight :p
Or maybe because they advertised better! :spy

Expandable. Must see for action movie fans. :yes

Finally saw Clash of the Titans. And it really wasn't that great. Mind you it was on a plane and that was the best they had.

To be fair, Shutter Island was made by Martin Scorsese.

Rewatching the mini series Band of Brothers,

I was born in the wrong era, wish I was born circa WWII

Nolan is known for his mind bending films and people nowadays are starting to like films that make them think beyond their expected level. And when Nolan does that again with Inception, it clicks big. Also the concept is a "WOW factor" (getting into someone else's dreams and stealing ideas).
