Last Movie You Watched

also saw Downfall, the story about the last few days of Hitler, another great movie.

Isn't that the german movie that THE famous scene is from? (The rant)

Cricketman added 1 Minutes and 20 Seconds later...

I really need to catch up on some of the movies. Need to see

Get him to the Greek
Due Date
Skyline

Lots of others i'm forgetting.

haha, a completely great rocking weekend of movies and fun which kept me stuck to my computer for whole 2 days. And that mean I didn't even touch any of the books when exams are just 10 days away.:p

Starting with

Phonebooth
Great movie, liked it very much. It was very much concentrated on just the phonebooth and it wasn't boring to say the least. Kept me stuck to my chair. Amazing concept.

Knock Out (hindi cinema)
A rip of Phonebooth, just watched it to compare it with Phonebooth. Phonebooth was superior but I liked this movie too. Irrfan Khan and Sanjay Dutt were upto the mark and Irrfan did some amazing work really. His dance and song were hilarious. Kangana failed big time though she looked sexy

Despicable Me
Amazing movie. If I would divide it in 2 parts then the first part was extremely funny and awesome till the adopted girls really started having a good time with main character. the second part was good too. The concept was great and the movie was extremely funny. Amazing work.

Superman-Batman Apocalypse
Just like a classic DC comics movie, a decent one, infact a great one. Some great fight scenes in the movie. Enjoyed it big time.

Robinhood(2010) - the legend in making
Yet again, amazing work, It tells the story how the legend begins. Absolute fun, great movie.

Cars Toon
"If I am lying, I'm crying." Masterpiece of comedy, amazing work , totally hilarious. Couldn't stop laughing even for a second while watching it. Loved it

Watched 'Unstoppable' (Denzel Washington, Chris Pine). AWESOME MOVIE!! Damn good thriller. The background score was magnificient, and Denzel and that other guy just rocked. It was a typical Tony Scott thriller, but if he keeps giving films like this, GIMME MORE!!!!:D:yes I think I might watch it again soon for the sheer thrill it gave especially in the final 15-20 mins.

Watched "The Sorcerers Apprentice" - A good movie, liked the story. Nicolas Cage was superb, no other great performance but I liked the direction. And it was actually quite funny at moments.

I saw the Social Network last week. Very good movie, great acting and plot line. Quite interesting to see the history behind the creation of something 500 million people around the world use.

Planning to see "Red" and "Social Network" over the next week. Not interested in Harry Potter.

Anyone watched "Love and other drugs"? Is it good? Saw a trailer of it yesterday before "Unstoppable" and it was very funny. But the reviews online dont seem encouraging.

This video from that film throws me off my chair!! Cracks me up big

I am legend (with the the altered ending)

Great movie.

Yep I loved it too.

Saw Harry Potter last week. Felt the movie lacked direction, i didnt really feel the emotions at times, and I feel the acting just wasnt good enough overall.

1. Harry Potter 7. Definitely much better than the previous ones but that is somewhat expected considering it's the last movie. Hated the scenes where the snake appeared in!

2. Tangled. A lovely and hilarious movie. :thumbs Pascal and Maximus was two of the lovely characters out there especially the former. :D The song 'I See The Light' was definitely nice to hear too.

I saw Harry potter 7 today. Its just rocking. The mystery continues in the whole movie and I am very very curious about the Part-2

Watched Harry Potter 7 today, and it was a great experience.

Watched "Guzarish", really amazing movie. Hrithik at his best. I always love movies with topics or a idea way more than the typical love triangle bollywood movies.
Euthanasia is a serious topic and it was really refreshing to see a bollywood director to take a topic like this.
There are a lot of scenes which portray the helplessness of the quadriplegics. Such as
When a fly sits on the Hrithik's nose he try to shake it away by moving his head. But fly comes back everytime. Finally he gave up and gave a smile as if he's laughing at himself and a tear comes from his eye:noway .

AngryPixel added 14 Minutes and 59 Seconds later...

Then there is another scene where hrithik ask the opposition lawyer to stay inside a box for 60 seconds, but lawyer feels suffocated and starts shouting in just a few seconds. When He comes out, Hrithik says "You couldn't even tolerate 60 seconds of my life :clap"

There is only one thing which i wish they had done. That is dubbing. :p yup, this movie is 40 % in english. Its not a problem for me but in small towns people wont understand the half of the dialogues and then it is not a typical entertainer so they would get bored as they wont be able to follow the story.

for example, there were two guys sitting next to my friend. In the movie there is line "She's such a bitch" and at that moment, those 2 guys were asking my friend "Bitch kya hota hai" What is a bitch:facepalm

So just to summarize : Brilliant movie, but not for the masses and rural areas. People in metros would appreciate it.

Hope people in the rural areas start learning English:p. Some films are made for a certain group, some are made for everyone. Maybe they could have added Hindi subtitles to those English parts that were spoken in the film.
