I think this is a very good initiative which will encourage league owners to carry on the good work on a consistent basis and hopefully bring the activity back to this section

The activity has increased greatly just by this announcement.

My Suggestion!!

--> Season 1 leagues should be placed in Tier 3
--> Season 2-3 Leagues Should Be Placed in Tier 2
--> Season 4-above Leagues Should Be Placed in Tier 1

For around 10 active leagues, why do we need three levels?

Dont listen to that Surrendar, that would mean in Tier 2 we would have only 2 teams (NZPL and WPL)

The only leagues that would be in tier one would be NZPL and WPL.
NZPL is pretty much season four, we are in season three play-offs.

I think all leagues that have completed there first season should be in tier one, that way there's a clear cut line of who's in tier one and who's not.
Don't have any promotion/relegation, just move up a league into tier one when it finishes it's first season.

Maybe half a year down the track there will be say 10 tier one leagues, then that will be the time when you can introduce another tier for leagues that have completed their second season.

Well, after the current poll, IPL & FTP would be moving to TIER 2 & APL/PC league up to TIER1. After this movement, the levels in the league indeed looks competitive is what I feel.

TBH I haven't really noticed any increase in activity...
I did notice three leagues get started within a week of the announcement, but I haven't noticed any new members or anything.

I was talking about active members. Before these things were applied, I could only see 2-3 active members in this section usually. But now, I usually see about 5-7 members active.
