League Of The Month(April) - Trial Run!

Just thinking that instead of the LOTM of awards shouldnt we have for like seasons?
Cuz how could you judge that one league is better that the other in a particular month? What I mean is that we can have this competition every 2 month and the nominations should be like:

NZPL - Season 3
WPL - Season 4
APL - Season 1

Otherwise I dont see how a league could be better than another each and every month?

I made this point originally:

Maybe the season idea is a good one, but I'm pretty sure WPL will win every time.

I think it would be better if it was based solely on the last month, because ATM everyone is still going to vote for more or less the same league they did for in April, at least I haven't seen anything to change my vote.

If it was based solely on the last month, you could maybe look at things like the amount of activity over that last month (both league manager and team owners), how far the league has progressed, the quality of the work over the last month etc.

Also it would allow for other smaller leagues to make more of an impact, if the likes of WPL has been in an off-season over part of the month like it has been currently.

Well my league is right in the middle of season four and five due to my exams, so I guess I won't be following up my second place from last time.

since this is probably the last season of the WPL, i have a feeling that this will be the last month it wins LOTM.
