What is the length and format of the cricket matches you all play?

I've since retired from cricket myself but I remember when I played in juniors we played 30 Over a side games, bowlers had a maximum of 6 overs each.

The quirky thing I found was when I got to senior level.
We played 35 over a side matches and you could have a couple of bowlers who could bowl 10 overs which I found weird.

We also got a drinks break after 18 overs which we didn't have in juniors. Though we could have one every 12 overs if it was a very hot day. In fact that's why I ended blowing my stack at our captain one day. We didn't take the extra drinks break despite it being about 45c

50 overs and 2 day matches are what I play. Drinks are after 25 overs (20 on hot days) in the 50 over matches and there is a set time for drinks, lunch and Tea in 2 day matches.
I prefer to play 2 day matches myself, Love opening the bowling and having an aggressive field set, although we only play them in interschools. The Dunedin Club format is 50 overs, 20 overs and 2 day cricket in first grade. But in my grade (second grade) Just the 50 overs.

20 over and 50 over games. No fielding restrictions, you can have 11 batters and bowlers, super-subs allowed.

I think fielding restrictions and powerplays are only in first grade here, not second. Never heard of Super-Subs in club cricket :p
I'm bloody happy that 20/20 hasn't been introduced in second grade, I'd absolutely hate it. It would suit my batting but I'm a bowler so... The only good thing of T20 would be not having to rush home after cricket if I wanna go out on Saturday night! :laugh

It's not officially named here but since it's juniors they allow you to have one or two bowlers that don't bat and vice versa.

Oh yeah, I remember that. Wouldn't call it a "super sub" more like, we'll give you a go at batting to make you feel good but hell no your not bowling as well! :p

auckland club cricket normally plays between 30-40 overs depends on the manager/coach's decision.

school cricket is either 2-day (consisting of 60-70 overs in one day) or 30 overs.

I play 24 overs for club and 20 overs for school, I don't know why we don't play a longer format, but hopefully I'll play some longer games if I play senior cricket next season.

I play 45 overs and we usually have drinks at 23 if its ever hot we have drinks every 15 overs

45 overs on a saturday and 40 overs on a sunday. The midweek cup competition which we recently lost in the final was 18 overs.

Much prefer 40 overs to the 45 though.

will be trying my hand in grade cricket next season, my junior cricket days are over. (so many good memories)

in grade cricket ill be playing 50 over cricket with a T-20 knockout comp played throughout the season.

Our club has 80 over per innings matches, with every team only with 1 innings. That means a total of 160 overs over 2 days.

But most of the time 80 overs isn't completed because sides get bowled out cheaply.

Also do you all wear whites or are you in a comp where coloured gear is used.

Whites only, I don't think our club has its own shirt.

I play in a comp where teams wear coloured kits but last season my team was the only team in whites as we are a 2nd XI. Hopefully I'll make the 1st XI this year and get my kit :p
