Pro35 Evolution : Cricket's Newest Format

We have witnessed some close 50 over ODI matches in the last couple of days including Eng vs Ban match. 50 overs format is here to stay.

It will make cricket more entertaining if 2 batsmen get centuries or a batman gets a 150+ score like 163* unlike 105 or 120 in T20s & a bowler gets 6-7 wickets.This will make the match statistics more substantial the word is subtance which T20 doesnt have at all.

What do you say to this??

T20 is too short for atleast 2 batsmen to get centuries (which has happened a lot of times in ODIs) or a batsman to score 150+ in an innings and too short for a bowler to take 6-7 wickets whereas it takes 7.5 hours for an ODI (50 ovs) to end too boring.

I agree T20 sucks. But batsmen score 150+ in ODI's and it's exciting.

matt you can have 150+ score in Pro35s too its a 210 balls match.It takes 115 balls to score 150+ on avg. & that too in a shorter duration so batsmen wont have cramps & you wont get bored.

Double benefit.

To me :

Test Cricket is the best sport in the world.

Its the purest form of any sport.

Its a potrayal of humanity.

It is a symbol of world peace.

Its better than even football.

I hate 50 overs & T20 as much as i love Test Cricket.

The confusion of ODI & T20 is distracting me from Tests.

No you don't. Unless we have International 35 over games you do not win.

If you find ODI long and boring then I hardly see how you can watch test cricket which can have most dull moments in a cricket game.

Crowds in West Indies have never been good for quite good time. Those crowds do not represent all cricket fans base. Australia stadiums are huge and do you expect full house for every game. Even T20 cannot guarantee that.

IPL is the worst form of cricket that exist and its just a fun time for 6 weeks in a year. Even players are in it for just making some quick bucks. Your IPL superstars have all been dud in International level. Shows you about the quality of game there.

It's hilarious to see you thinking you've 'won' :laugh This is one of the worst ideas in cricket ever.

Your first link is just some guys discussing whether it is dead or not. Not one of them ever speaks about 35 over cricket.

And the fact that people playing ODIs and T20s distracts you from watching tests? :laugh:laugh:laugh
