FRIENDLY AGAINST CELTIC

Liverpool's first game of the season is a friendly against Celtic.Apparently Liverpool had only 4 of 5 subs so they also allowed a local Liverpool lad(aged 10 named anonymous) to play as the 5th sub.

This is what the manager to say to his team ahead of the game:

"Lads,as long as we dont lose too badly and everyone contributes in some way,I'll be happy.Hopefully you all will be enjoying the experience of doing some excercise for once instead of staying near the computer whole day and browsing through planetcricket.

The match was played at the Millenium stadium in Cardiff.There were thousands of Celtic fans,a couple of Liverpool fans and millions of Everton fans who had come to watch Liverpool lose.

FIRST INITIATIVES FROM LIVERPOOL

Liverpool captain MVaughan initially looked out of sorts away from the football pitch.The game started with a strong pace as both teams looked to attack.Kev was found out of position initially and it took a brilliant tackle from Tonkertoy to stop Sutton in around the 3rd minute.

Liverpool soon counter-attacked using Wildwil whose pace seemed to freeze the Celtic midfield.He then passed the ball on to James who made a clever run to the right where he was in some space.A beatiful cross of the ball from our very own James and Gamerkid who was away from writing stories headed the ball brilliant."Ouch,that must have hurt his neck though,he'll be sore tommorow".Celtic keeper whoever had no chance of stopping that but the big post came to the rescue."Seems like some of the Everton supporters have cheated and brought a bigger goal post at Celtic's end".Anyhow the defenders just cleared it from there.

LIVERPOOL KEEP UP THE PRESSURE

After that early pressure,things went a bit quiet for about 5-6 minutes when both defenses seem to be holding a good line.

However around the 20th odd minute,Right Back Treva passed the ball to Wildwil who just ran past the Celtic midfield and passed a through ball to "Short Leg who was just promoting his story to the Celtic defense at that very moment and was caught slightly unaware".However the defense were also caught napping as Short Leg slammed the ball without even thinking of controlling it first and it was a tame effort into the hands of the Celtic goalie.

Im playing this on World Class.Also hoping that I can bring in my 3 subs pretty soon into the 2nd half.Anyhow I'll be making sure that all 16 players(1 still left to join) will be getting equal chances as we go into the season.

Very entertaining start to the story. It's realistic to as the hit and hope without thinking sounds just like me. Looks like we're on top at the moment and shouldn't be to long before the Poolers take the lead.

FANS CELEBRATE AS CELTIC SCORE

Celtic from the 25th odd minute started attacking and the absense of a defensive midfielder seemed to put a lot of pressure in the Liverpool defense.Around the 27th minute both the Liverpool RB and RM attacked.But as the ball was recovered the a wonderful ball was played to the Celtic Left Midfielder who was in a lot of space.The ball was then played to John Hartson."I think the defenders seeing Hartson midunderstood him for old Kev and allowed him a free run".Hartson passed the ball to Petrov which was then brilliantly smacked in from just outside the box."Goalie Yorkie who had nothing to do all day was probably thinking about how Matthew Hoggard might be performing against Pakistan.".In any case he had no chance of saving that one as it blasted into the goal.Celtic and Everton fans were starting to really go mad now!!!

Youve had nothing to do so far except concede that goal.Anyhow one of the pictures has you(your player) as the background in it.
