CELTIC DEFEND IN NUMBERS
Celtic after scoring that goal started defending in numbers.Liverpool had most of the possession from here on but couldnt make much of it."The players seemed to be out of breath and some of them were already keen on finding the New Posts in PlanetCricket." Towards the end of the half Wildwil came up with his pace once again,clearly the stand out player so far for Liverpool,but his shot was saved by the keeper.It almost seems like there are two Celtic keepers out there.Liverpool will need to really up it in the second half despite tired legs if they are to get anything from this game apart from applauds from Everton fans.

LIVERPOOL LOOK URGENT
Liverpool started all guns blazing,but Celtic defended heroically.As nothing much happened in terms of shots on goal in the second half,Liverpool made 3 subs in a row,mainly switching a tired defender and giving goalie drewska a chance.Pak Cricketer came on an immediately made an impact winning a corner.The corner was headed away as big bad Kev who had come up for the corner gave the ball a good defenders whack but it sailed over as the Celtic goalie waved it goodbye.
[Note:Something Ive not done this game is get some pics of a few good cruching tackles from our defenders,I'll try doing this as we enter the season.]

THINGS GETTING DESPERATE
Celtic from here on tried to just keep possession and frustrate the hell out of Liverpool.However they hardly managed to get past the halfway line as both Kev and Rabble Rouser were playing almost as sweepers.One long ball around the 75th minute seemed to put Sutton in the clear,but goalie Drewska charged at him and snached the ball out of his legs.Time ticked by as Liverpool hopes faded."MVaughan was hoping that even if this one ended in a penalty shootout,he wouldnt mind.This after his secondary role as manager of Stuttgart saw him recently lose a crucial game in a PK Shootout". Pak Cricketer seemed to bring fresh legs onto the park but he didnt see much of the ball.
Finally around the 80th minute,a long throw from our very own LB,saw two Scot's battling against each other.However Liverpool player Usy won the header which MWaugh,retired from Cricket,looked to curl in the far corner ala Theiry Henry.The shot went just wide.Liverpool were starting to look down and dusted by now,the Everton fans started raising their voices and singing in expectation.
