OFFICIAL SEASON BEGINS

The official season kicks off today and Liverpool manager looked confident ahead of their first game.Liverpool have also signed a big deal 2 year contract with mobile phone company T-Mobile.The agreement is to have T-mobile ads in Liverpool TV,but no sponsor logo shall be placed on the Liverpool kit as it has already been designed for the new season.

Ive already played the first game Drew,so I dont think we need to change now.Maybe we could do it for the second half of the season.

TEAMS AND FORMATIONS

Liverpool play a slightly different team and formation to their previous match against Celtic.Fulham play a 4-4-1-1 formation as they are the away team with Radzinski occassionly coming up front to support the lone striker McBride.

GREAT START FOR LIVERPOOL AS P.CRICKETER STRIKES

Liverpool started in a positive fashion as they were in an attacking mode.As early as in the 6th minute Short Leg played a wonderful through ball to Pak Cricketer who composed himself and hit a wonderful shot."The players immediately ran not to manager sid but to the crowd where planetcricket admin Ste had come to watch the match."Fulham needed to come out of their defensive mode now.

LIVERPOOL DEFEND IN NUMBERS

Fulham started attacking from here on,but Liverpool were stubborn and resisted all the attacks,the only problem was that when Liverpool managed to get hold of the ball,they couldnt have it for long periods or make any good use of it.Any Fulham attacks from the middle of the park was brilliantly defended by new signing Hondeyho both in the air and on the ground.

Treva was also instrumental in defending properly and then passing the ball forward to the midfield.The best chance in this period came from a Fulham cross from the right,but it was headed away by Debooo who had come back to aid the defense."Seems like Ste coming to the ground has made a big difference."

LIVERPOOL END HALF STRONGLY

In the last 10 minutes of the half,the famous Liverpool songs from the crowd rejuvinated the team.Defending was top notch,Hondeyho acted as a stong link between defense and attack,supplying passes to the wingers and the forwards.

As stoppage time started,Hondeyho decided to take matters in his own hands,he skipped past two defenders and tried an outrageous left footer from around 30 yards out.Unfortunately he still had his passing boots and couldnt really hit it close enough to the goal.(Gamerkid seemed really angry that Hondeyho didnt pass to him.)"Goalie Drewska had nothing to do and had to be awakened by his defenders on the half time whistle."
