Right.

Ten minutes (20:40) and The Lazy Borises will be trying to find a way to save their tournament hopes (if there are any left) taking on the The Glasgow Grubbers who will be hoping to extend theirs.

THE GARY GLASS HAS BEEN SMASHED!

Thanks to those who dropped by to watch the two matches (plus the bonus third).

We started off with Montreal Midgets finally putting Neptune Gaming out of their misery. The Midgets go up to second place, on equal points with Gilly's Grubs in Group B. Neptune Gaming vs Lucky Lockdown Lunatics looks set to be the decider of who is the worst team in Group B. That is unless the Lunatics pull off a suprise win against Thunder.

Trump's Fringe maintained their 100% record with a convincing win over the erratic Lockdown Losers. Trump's Fringe are the first team definitely through. Lockdown Losers can still go through, sitting in third place.

Lastly, to the delight of fans across the globe The Lazy Borises marched to a glorious victory against The Glasgow Grubbers. Despite a customary middle order collapse The Borises bowling was, for once, excellent. Depending on who Spartans and Twelve Fine Legs fare in their games this round, it could be a straight play off for the four sides as to who finished 3rd and has a chance to make the quarter finals.

Jason Roy has gone back to the top of the run scoring charts. His opening partner Kusal Perera is second.

Jasprit Bumrah has leapt to the top of the bowling charts (9 wickets). His team mate, Andy McBrine, is now in the second place tie on seven.

The Lazy Borises' Colin Ingram accomplished the remarkable feat of his third golden duck in three innings.

Not sure of my plans for tomorrow because I have to make and then wait for an appointment. I would like to do three games. Maybe a morning one and then two later ones. I'll post when I know more. If you haven't done your team update - do it! Pitch reports are in the first post.

One thing I'm thinking of doing is adding in some placement matches for teams that don't qualify for the knockout or get knocked out in the quarters and semis.

Losing quarter finalists:

5th place play off (2 matches) then 5th place final and a 7th place final.

Losing semi finalists to a 3rd place play off.

For other teams:

Thought was:

9-11 in a three team group play off

12-14 in a three team group play off

15-18 - 15 v 18/ 16 v 17, then a 15th place final and a wooden spoon match to precede the final. So we can crown the best and the worst together.

It won't really count to anything but means every one has a more involvement beyond the group stages.

Apart from the last four, who will get seven matches, everyone else will have eight no matter where they finish.

I started to read this, but then I realised it doesn't apply to me, as I'm going to win :lol
