Lockdown tournament (SEASON 2 - Updates in first post)

Something is wrong very wrong, Gary Ballance got 15. When are we going to wake up people, when are we going to throw off the shackles, when are we going to the take the streets and dem....ooh Frosties.
It was a painful 15. But we won and now I'm left wondering whether or not to drop him.

Statement from The Glasgow Grubber's Chairman

This will be brief this morning but it is telling that the only way our opponent could get a victory yesterday is by springing the match upon us at the last minute. Another example of clear corruption and another item for the dossier. I place no blame on my team or captain whose clear errors in judgement (especially with relation to bowling changes) were obviously a result of not being in the correct state of mind due to the match being moved at the last minute. The integrity of this competition was destroyed long ago and we no longer care about winning or losing within it. What we care about is justice, truth and honesty. This fight is now worth so much more than some shiny bauble on a mantelpiece, it is about those who play the game in the correct spirit being rewarded for their dedication to fair play. We implore other teams to speak out as bravely as we have against the high levels of corruption on display. Only together can we make changes and save the game we all love.

As I close this statement I reflect on the words of another who was oppressed by forces such as we are now 'We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love.'. As MLK says so it is. You must forgive us for rocking your comfortable world with the truth so you can learn to love and embrace the truth like us. I now end with a verse from the bible 'He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God.'. Think on it, for the very future of the game is at stake.

Statement Ends.

Fine words but you are part of the problem. By taking part in this farce of a tournament you perpetuate the injustice heaped upon the most vulnerable in our society who are chewed upon and spat out by a system that has no time, no place for those who been been wronged, for those who dared to dream, who saw a glimmer of a chance to claw themselves out of the gutter, to make some way in this dark dark world, to bring about some semblance of dignity in this corrupt and putrid affront of a tournament. But hear me, hear me, for whatever it takes, how high the mountain may be, how deep the undrained swamp is, how long the election campaign may go on for, I WILL return, victorious, unbroken, finely polished and I say unto thee: I Am Jackimius Minimus Leachius And. I. Will. Have. My. Revenge!!!! Ha ha ha....ha ha ha ha.....haha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!

I look forward to seeing Lucky Lockdown Lunatics vs The Glasgow Grubbers in the wooden spoon matcch.

Crucial win for P9 Panthers that puts them into second place. Tied on 6 pts with Isolated XI and Lockdown Losers. Lockdown Losers play P9 Panthers, so the winner will stand a good chance of finishing 2nd or qualifying in third place.

Aiming to be on at around 5pm (UK) for Lucky Lockdown Lunatics v Thunder. Followed by Blocktown Brotherhood v Spartans.

A defeat for Lunatics will end, once and for all, their hopes of winning the title.

A win for Thunder and/or Spartans will eliminate several teams who can currently only reach six points.

So, come on @Dutch and @blockerdave !
