Two dominant bowling performances win the first quarter finals.

The underdogs P9 Panthers absolutely blew away Trump's Fringe who managed a decent total thanks to the 67 runs for the last two wickets. However, Ajinkya Rahane led the way as Panthers cruised into the semi finals.

In the other quarter final the favourites found it tough against Blocktown's four spinners and managed a modest 178. It was though more than enough to defend with Fire In Babylon's four spinners taking all ten wickets to advance to the semi finals. It was a third defeat in a row for Blocktown and a fourth win in a row for Fire In Babylon who are definitely the team to beat now.

Blocktown and Trump's Fringe go into the 5th Place Play Offs.

@blockerdave Just watching it now on delayed broadcast.. Rassie van der Dussen's 5 fours in one over from Roach gave us the extra runs just when you had tied us down with tight bowling !

Even with Gayle, Williamson, Narine, and Pollard, its players like Marnus, Rassie and Nurse that are the spark plugs of FIB, good game.
