Twelve Fine Legs ended their losing streak by beating the Keaton Jennings powered Lockdown Losers in the 12th Place Group.

The magnificent Lazy Borises won again, why wouldn't they? The victims this time, in the 9th Place Group, Thunder. Their next victims: Montreal Midgets.

In the big matches - the quarter finals - San Francisco Suckers came up against Isolated XI. They produced an excellent bowling performance and followed it up with a commanding batting performance. Suckers advance to the semis for a huge clash against Fire In Babylon. Meanwhile, Isolated XI go into the 5th Place Play Offs against Blocktown Brotherhood.

In the last quarter Gilly's Grubs continued their powerful batting form and finally found some bowling form, at just the right time. Despite Morne Morkel bowling 5 balls in one over, during the Spartans' run chase, they couldn't capitalise. No boundaries and on the fifth free hit, despite warnings from the commentators, MS Dhoni managed to get himself run out. Their will be questions asked about Dhoni's position after a decision to bowl and then concending 200+ and only bowling Mohammad Amir for two overs, despite going for just 11 of his first two overs.

Grubs go into the semis to face P9 Panthers while Spartans will face Trump's Fringe in 5th Place Play Offs.

I might push the Midgets v Borises match to Wednesday, but Wooden Spoon knock outs will be tomorrow so make sure you've got your team selections.

Extremely happy with the Grubs performance with both bat and ball for once. Was a brilliant contribution all-round, although Dhawan's poor form continues though. Anyway bring it on Panthers, onto the semis!
