Short Leg XI have clinched 9th place win a convincing win of Lockdown Losers. Big runs from Maxwell and Bavuma putting them in a decent position. Kumar and Perera bowled very well at the death despite some endurance batting from Pujara Azam for Lockdown Losers.

In the 5th Place Final we had a thrilling finish. A masterful 62 from Suresh Raina helped Isolated XI up to a loft 191 after their 20 overs. Trump's Fringe replied well and stay close all the way through, thanks to Taylor, Perera and ten Doeschate. With 19 from 12 they looked assured of victory. Then Sir Jadeja threw down a spectacular 1 run penultimate over completely shifting the balance of the match. Perera and ten Doeschate managed to get it down to 6 from 2, Mujeeb then provided a dot ball. 6 from 1 needed. Only Pujara has done such great works on the last ball aaaaand..... ten Doeschate did the same - not to draw the match but to win it.
Congratulations to Trump's Fringe on 7th place and congratulations to Isolated XI. Two of the most entertaining teams and certainly finishing top 8 is nothing to be ashamed about.
