something was waiting for him there
The attacker was waiting for Till Valhalla in the office which means the attacker knew that Till Valhalla had forgotten his phone at the office which means the attacker was very close to Till Valhalla and knew about all his activities.

Grasping at straws, are we? What exactly is this supposed to accomplish :rolleyes

Apart from this, I have nothing to say.
Waiting for RUDI's reply.

:) not really sure how to reply to your statement AK, other than I highly doubt Till Valhalla will bring real life into a mafia game.
But, if you think us being friends IRL effect the outcome then all I can say is we are all entitled to our opinions.

Two mysterious letters?

Not wanting to read too much into the two, but it can be that we have two possible killers
Maybe just means that there are two people in the Mafia, One Goon and One Godfather?
Would love @Till Valhalla reply to whether we can interpret things from the writeup or is it just for flavor?
This looks a little suspicious to me. No mention of writeup, setup, or anything, just making a joke.
Wanted to start the game in a light way, nothing else...

@CerealKiller is right on the No Lynch part tho. If we do not Lynch someone and there is also no night kill, then we would be at square one with no particular leads...

Are you then advocating that we ought to have a lynch by end of day 1?

The problem is, there’s not much to work with right now. I think we need to talk more and get a lead before the end of the day.

24 hours from here day 1 will end unless there's a burst of activity or there is a hammer of anything.
@Yash. @asprin @Ashutosh. @CerealKiller @RUDI @zwarrior
Lynch count

I think Yash was just making a joke. Or I don't know, maybe I am mistaken ?

Hi all. Is it just me or does this look like 1) an attacker that left (didn't kill Valhalla though wounded him fatally) and then 2) someone shot him ?

Exactly my thoughts when I first posted about Jack's writeup. Please see below regarding my thoughts.

The attacker was waiting for Till Valhalla in the office which means the attacker knew that Till Valhalla had forgotten his phone at the office which means the attacker was very close to Till Valhalla and knew about all his activities.

Exactly. The attacker knew what time Jack would leave the office and it is also mentioned he returned to take the phone back. So, the attacker knew Jack is absent minded or someone who forgets regularly.

But still it is difficult to see it, in the way you said because the attacker wouldn't know exactly when Mayor will be back to take his phone or iff Jack forgot his phone. Maybe the attacker was just in the room to get some info(see my point below) and Mayor was in the wrong place at wrong time and got killed.

I mean, it will open up conversations atleast.

My interpretation from the write up -

1- Mayor saw some two letters and was surprised and left the office. (Maybe he had info about the two killers?)
2- When Mayor left office, killer #1 was waiting in office. (Maybe killer wanted to check the office or searching something in the office, see below point)
3- Attacker didn't kill Jack but wounded him (was it on purpose or he just knew he would die of his wounds?) But this point doesn't matter to the game I believe.
4- When he picked his phone, someone else or the same killer (I am confused here), came back and killed the Mayor.

SO, maybe the Mayor was calling someone, like a spy/cop to tell info about the two killers(from point 1)? and the killer #1 was maybe searching in office to get this spy's name and since Mayor's phone was there, so he got the name of spy?

I can see we have two killers and one cop/spy. And maybe one of the killer(the second one) knows who the spy is. So, the two killers may not be related or know each other because they didn't attack him together. So, one killer, one hitman and one cop. Hitman(second one) knows who the spy is because Mayor had dialled the spy's number in phone.

Ofcourse this is all redundant if Jack just wrote the story just like that.

So you disagree with me?
If I had lynched someone -
"You have lynched him without any proper reason which means you are the mafia."

If I had not lynched anyone -
"You are not contributing in this game. You are just waiting for the night which means you the mafia."
