I am just wondering why so much hatred from both sides. I can't concentrate on the match even. Is that because of religion, we were the same country before, or what is the reason that makes these people hate each other.

Whatever is happening in this thread or anywhere in any other forum/discussion threads is a source of entertainment for others and we are acting like jokers (at least I feel so). We can't stand each other. It's ridiculous. Well to be honest it's pathetic. I am always in search of the answer, but in vain.

Everybody does not hate each other. Me and a couple of Indian friends are going to a Party hosted by friends from Karachi to watch the match on a projector and big screen. We play Cricket, practice together, and then have dinner together.
Sure we make jokes about each side winning and being better etc. but nothing personal all in fun.

No match stuff at all.

Super Over in that case . if we cant have a super over , then Pakistan go through to the final by virtue of topping their group with 10 points , compared to India's 9 at 2nd place .

Strong Wind is going here in Ludhiana but no signs of rain yet. It's nowhere related to weather in Mohali though. But a bright sun is predicting tomorrow.

So roughly twice as many pages in this semi thread and it hasn't even started yet!

I just hope this is a closer and more interesting contest than the last two, will all hell break loose when one side is losing though? Could be in for a couple of tense matches, not just on the pitch.

I hope Pakistan stir it up a bit and win, I'd quite liked to have seen the kiwis beat Sri Lanka just to break up a bit of predictability that is hitting the latter stages. A low scoring and tense semi would be order of the day, under 200 each maybe. I do love a good old fashioned low scorer, Tests or ODIs. Make batsmen work for their runs, bowlers have to keep a good line and length or get hit for expensive boundaries and watch lower orders make for nervousness on the field and in dressing rooms.

BTW Tickets were booked even before the semi-finalist decided. Expect a full house. Infact more than full house. People will be standing all around the stadium. Not even tickets are selling in black. Price for a normal cricket is around Rs 5000.
