Does anyone else get an Australian feel to this ground in Chennai. Looks like Hobart/Adelaide Oval to me after the renovation. Would have an awesome atmosphere when full. Its anything but full at the moment now. This clash deserved a Day/night fixture and not a day game in the heat of Chennai.

Horrible scheduling. Chennai generally comes out in big numbers for any international game. Still remember the 1996 Q/F between Australia and NZ at Chennai which was a full house. Can`t have day games on a Sunday in Chennai. They could have easily had this game as a day/nighter instead of some of those Canada/Zim games which have had day night slots on the weekdays.

Which is why I said they could have scheduled it on some other day with this being a feature game for the day rather than having NZ v Zim and Pak v Canada on the same day!

Tahir having a field day in the WC, just keeps on picking up a bagful of wickets. Another good all round display by the bowlers, should be an easy enough chase for the batsmen.
